Zeiss Pre-Moistened Lens Cleaning Wipes - Cleans Bacteria, Germs and Without Streaks for Eyeglasses and Sunglasses - (50 Count)

Wipes are semi-moist and work exactly as described. They are not "wet" like hand wipes in restaurants that are dripping when taken out of the package, these are only "damp" so you have to use them quickly or they will dry out and you'll just be rubbing dry paper on your lens. The material feels thin and not as soft as Kleenex but more like that bad quality toilet paper in a bus station, although it's fairly tear-resistant like cloth so I can't really describe it as tissue, cloth, or paper towel? I tested one out on my 95mm lens filter and it was just moist enough to clean both sides. I tried another one on my 27" computer monitor and it dried out half way through wiping the screen so I had to use a 2nd one to finish it. They are very handy and compact and are great for cleaning my camera lenses in the field because 2 or 3 of these hardly take up any space in my bag.

Like how these wipes clean my glasses lenses and they are so easy to use. The only problem was the delivery bag that wipes came in is too thin and was torn making the box the wipes come in torn and dented.The delivery bag needs to be thicker and stronger.

Have used Zeiss Pre-Moistened Lens Cleaning Wipes for years. They’re handy individually wrapped, perfect for cleaning glass lens. The packaging label appears to have changed & the smell is different (don’t like the new smell), but still cleans lens well.

The wife loves these.

I find these wipes great for camera lense and eye glasses. This is especially helpful when traveling where the water doesn't always rinse well and a soft cloth is not always available. No drying required for a lint free clean finish.

I never figured to write a review about a lens wipe. However, having used all sorts of brands of throw away wipes and cloths with sprays I ended up by chance picking up a box of Zeiss wipes. Honestly, for such a trivial item it actually turned out to be the best of the bunch by far. I don't get streaks, picks up smudges and more very quickly and doesn't damage my glasses' lenses (treated). So far, each box (smaller size) has had the individually packets wipes in good shape (none dried out as found with other brands at times that sat on shelf too long).I consider Zeiss the* only option I will use for my glasses. (As a plus, after cleaning glasses, if the wipe is still somewhat usable, it is used very gently on my keyboard with great success but I won't recommend others do it.)

"Cleaning" Wipes?After trying with three wipes to "clean" my eyeglass lenses, then holding to the light, I've found it nicely rearranges lint and seems to remove smears, but it works well enough on surfaces such as tablets and smartphones.Other observations:+ Tip: to make the most of the moisture, do not unfold. Folded, I've found a single pad contains enough moisture for 2 smartphones, one tablet, and still going strong afterwards.+ When tearing straight down along the dashed edge on one side of the packaging, it opened easily enough -- anywhere else, results are a mixed bag.+ Product received in a clear, zipper style bag, most items fastened together in pairs. So easy to pack or store. See picture.+ Product appears to be new:(if unfolded): move quickly.- Propyl odor lasts about 10-15 seconds after applicationPersonally, I'd rather have one product for smartphones, tablets, computer screens, and eye glasses. Was about to return it when a last minute rescue by my better half saved it from the ignominy.
