I honestly purchased this thinking it was something entirely different than it is! I was offered this tether as a promotion and thought it would be great for my SLR when adventuring with my kids. I don't use a sling or anything like that with my camera. I'm just a mom, not a professional photographer.I tried it with my SLR and it wasn't great for the use I had thought. I did, however, get creative and ended up using it and loving it with my smaller point and shoot camera. I replace the wrist strap I had on that camera with this tether when we were hiking. I actually had the perfect place to connect the locking ring on my backpack and had my camera tethered in a place I could easily grab at an instant and use. I found that having my camera more accessible this way I took a lot more pictures of our hiking trips.Even though I misunderstood the intended use of this tether, I have gotten great use out of it and have enjoyed having it and trusting my expensive camera to be safe.

This strap provided just the piece of mind i was looking for on my vacation in New York. I had a horrible fear that my neck strap attachment would break and i would lose my dslr into the Hudson. This looks a lot more industrial in person than our shows in the pictures. It's literally a link from the hardware store with a string tied & heat shrinked on it.

Quality expected from Indigo Marbl3. Very pleased with this tether to secure my camera. I will be ordering more.

doesn't work on mirrorless Fuji X-t1 camera body and sorry I purchased it. The advertisement was not clear about which cameras it works on.

The cord is too short, and the metal thing can be bought at a hardware store for about $2.00. I will have to purchase a longer cord in order to use it.

After getting my Indigo Marble camera strap I had my concerns with the camera connection as there was no back up in the event of a failure in the connection point. I found myself checking the connection all the time to the point of that's all it seemed I did when out shooting, it was a big distraction. The simple act of installing the safety lanyard relinquished all my fears as there was finally a trustworthy backup to protect my camera from being damaged in the event of a failure in the screwed connection.....peace of mind.

I'm just getting back into using my DSLR after having my children. Since my camera was so expensive, I worry about dropping it. This camera strap was made available to me during a promotion and I am glad that it did. It's a simple design - the reinforced clip is attached to your camera bag, belt loop, etc after you secure the black strap to your camera. I felt more secure about using my camera around my toddlers since I had an extra layer of protection available to keep it from falling. I even intentionally dropped the camera (over my bed) to see if the tether would hold up and it did! I definitely recommend this product.I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
