Falls apart easy and easy to lose parts.
Worked okay for a little while, but fell apart during a shoot and lost little spring that help connect hotshoe to bar. Then bolt came loose at angle and flipped flash around while carrying it almost breaking it. Mechanically not great, better brackets out there. I also made the mistake of thinking the bracket would extend higher if using a battery grip, I was wrong. Chalk that one up to buyer error I guess.

Awkward at first but so amazing!!!!!!!
Honestly it was a little difficult to use at first. But give it a couple tight fits with a Philips head and Allen key its perfect. I feel 10x more professional with it. Love that it comes with the off camera flash cord also. Its high quality and is a deal that should not br turned down.

As a photography student on a very tight budget, I found this to be just what I needed. No problems at all, strong and sturdy, handle grip perfect. The ability to position the flash unit in a variety of positions makes for greater flexibility.

Terrible
UPDATE! Cable shorted my flash gun (430exii) within an hour's use! DO NOT BUYthis had been a positive review due to quality and brief testing, but upon use its damaged my equipment. Second time I've purchased neewer products and second time they've failed.

Little bit frustrating but it works.
The bracket and cord arrived on time. It works but for a few niggles. The cord is clumsy falling in front of the lens or flash or both. The cord is fairly heavy duty and comes out at the front on the camera and into the front of the flash. Just have to be careful of it covering the lens or flash. The strange clamp that you attach the flash to I threw away and improvised something else. I wouldn't trust that it would hold the flash in place. If you are using a heavy flash I wouldn't use it on its side. I fear the plastic foot would break off. I'll use it but it's pretty clumsy and I'll be really careful.
