So far, so good.
Now, this is an inexpensive garage door opener. My expectations were fairly low, but I figured it couldn't be nearly as bad as the last two or three Genie openers I've had on that door. The last Genie lasted us about a week. Not even a dozen open, close events. I would have returned it to Home Depot, but it had been too long since I bought it. The Atoms ATR-1622CK by Skylink opener was a cinch to install and program, and after a couple of weeks, it's still working perfectly! It's already exceeded the life of the last two Genie openers combined. It is very quiet compared to the Genie. I also like the built-in LED light and the remotes.

Fantastic and very complete setup, easy to install with some great features
The product arrived within 2 days well-packaged to prevent transit damage. It was almost unbelievable what was included for $169,99. The 1/2 hp motor running the new chain on a new arm is extremely quiet. The 2 one-button personal transmitters are set up for both inserted on your keychain or on the vehicle sun visor; even the batteries were included. The light is extremely bright for its low wattage, and it turns on automatically and off when the door is closed. An adjustable switch on the side of the interior transmitter lets you choose a time to leave the door open and then closes it automatically so you never have to worry about forgetting to close it when you leave. The outside wireless transmitter has an easily set code to allow opening and closing from outside. What a complete system for such a price point. We are totally blown away by arrival, well-made, ease to install and features available!

Fairly easy install.
This unit, like others have said is small and extremely quiet. All in all, the videos and install were pretty good and helpful. There's 2 things in a little dissatisfied with. I didn't see anywhere in the video that states when first using the opener, the garage door should be shut! Mine was up because it's hot in Texas. This caused the chain to come off track and was a bear to put back on. Second, and this is why I took off a star.... This garage door opener doesn't work with home link which is the built in door opener in most cars! This is frustrating, but livable.... Would have liked to have known this upfront though.

Great Value and Support
I did my research before purchasing a new garage door opener. Looking at the prices at the big box stores and the limited selection there, I decided to try something else. I called Skylink and talked at length with one of their managers, and after being assured that the system would work with my Homelink in my truck I ordered the chain drive with outside keypad. I was impressed with how much time he took with me since the regular phone tech couldn’t answer my questions. It arrived quickly and set up was pretty easy. I have installed openers before but not this brand. A few things were different and in a good way.I was immediately impressed with how quiet the dc motor is even with the chain. Barely noticeable from the outside and WAY quieter than my Liftmaster chain drive (although it was 25 years old, which is pretty impressive). After failing to like the remotes to my Homelink in the truck, I called and was immediately shipped an updated remote that I programmed in about 60 seconds to the unit and the truck.I’m very happy with the unit and as a handyman I’ll recommend this to people that ask me to replace their openers.

It's works, but it works slow.
I replaced an old chamberlain opener with this one. Compared to my old opener, the skylink opens and closes my garage door incredibly slow. With that said, it works and the price was really reasonable.

Silent chain drive strong super small easy to assemble
This product is very small the smallest garage door opener I've ever seen it has an LED light that is bright it also includes two remotes with the visor clips but they also detach to fit on your key ring they are two pieces you get the outdoor wireless keypad the door sensors it's a very good kit easy to assemble I would get the chain one like I have it's silent I feel like the belt driven is nothing but problems in the future I would recommend this for anybody it even has the plug on the side for the battery backup if you wanted to skip buying one you can simply plug in any 12 volt battery like a power wheels battery and it will keep it charged and act as a backup when power goes out

Worked until 30 days after the "support" window
Although it was a pain to replace my old garage door opening system, I thought this one would be awesome. It was much quieter and smaller than my old one, and seemed to work well at first, although I had my doubts with some of the plastic pieces. It worked well, up until today. I checked my order, and it says my "support window" for this product expired less than 4 weeks ago. The unit light turns on, and everything looks good on the sensors, but the motor will not even turn. When you hold the open button for a few seconds, it will flash 5 times, and then show an error code of "H". I've verified through some of the setup process that all of the lines on the led error code/setup area work, so it's shouldn't be an A or anything besides an H. But we've been scouring the internet and their site trying to find an "H" code. Haven't been able to find out. And the 5 flashes indicates the "auto" close feature, which is turned off. I've disengaged the attachment to see if the chain would even move. It does not. I tried resetting without any luck. I'm going to attempt to reach out to the company to see if they'll send a replacement motor since it's only been 8 or 9 months since we bought it.If they do, I'll update the review.
