SODIAL(R) 50 Pcs Silver Tone Metal Insulated Alligator Clip Crocodile Clamps

These clips are more heavy duty than the last I ordered. The spring close is strong. The total length is about 3.5cm and the jaws open about one cm. I have ordered and received several jumpers, insulated alligator clips and leads with metal clips like these on more expensive orders and this bag of 50 costing $3.12 ($0.06 / Gram) & FREE Shipping, is a good price. When I ordered them, they were $3.61, but it was still a good deal. I usually crimp then solder the clips to assure the leads don't come off and these will work well for my projects.

They seem a little small especially thumb depressor that opens it, but it might just be me since I have large fingers. They are 1 & 7/8 inches total length with a total bite zone of 9/16 of an inch and the teeth being about 1/16 tall by 5/16 long and they open to about5/16 of an inch wide. The metal is solid not coated. It comes as pictured with no insulator. The spring looks to be OK. They were a good deal at $2.98\50pc especially since I ordered other items to get free shipping. I would have had to buy 500 or more at a time from a warehouse to get a comparable price and still have to pay shipping on top of that. So I'm happy with the deal.

These little clips have been very useful to have around the house! I've used them for Christmas crafts and even in the garden. The only issue I have come across is that they are difficult to open without hurting my fingers.

These are definately not heavy duty clips. The metal bends very easy, however they are okay for what I'm planning to use them for; Clip on bows for decorations & packages

A little larger than I expected. However, they are still good to solder to the edges of my "reader" glasses frames. The 50 pcs are probably a lifetime supply for my use.....
