It really brightens up my turtle tank and was so easy to attach. It clings nicely with no added adhesive but I did put a little piece of clear tap on either side just to be sure.

When I first ordered this, I thought it was just a touch pricey, but now that I have it I believe it was definitely worth it. The vinyl is a good thickness and the image is clear enough, though I suppose there is a slight slant to the "sand" just like in the product image.The paper backing has a 1" by 1" square grid that makes it easy to measure and cut. Applying is easy: spray the glass with water first, line up the top edge of the vinyl with the top of the aquarium (remove the paper backing, of course), then smooth any bubbles down and out with a squeegee or credit card.

It’s not vibrant in color at all. It’s just very basic and simple. We got it to prevent our cats from stalking the fish from the backside. It does the job. Just wish I could find a more vibrant background that clings to the tank like this one does. Most backgrounds require tape or adhesive. With two people it was easy to install. We have a 29 gal tank so we needed to trim it a bit but it fits perfectly and it stays on.Very simple to install if you spray the tank with water first then start peeling the white film layer off and work your way to the other end of the tank as you peel the film, then take a credit card or something flat and work all the bubbles out.

This couldnt be any easier to install for me. Those difficult install reviews are nonsense.There is 3” from tank to the wall.Tools: another person.squeegee,water bottle with water,razor blade or sharp cutting blade1) remove anything covering the back of tank. spray back of tank with water2) have someone hold the sheet while you unroll sheet. Spray the cling face with water.3) apply to tank. Wait 4 minutes for spouse to align it in some other way than your original way just to put it back exactly where you had it.4) spray the back of the sheet and squeegee out the air bubbles5) slide blade over the edges for cut. Alternatively you could just fold it over the edge and leave it partially covering a side as well without cutting it.Total time: less than 2 minutes if you dont have a spouse. 5 min if you do.Note. If you look closely at the picture, the sand has a slight left to right slant. This is also in the background.

This sticks great to the glass but image is kind of dull it's really just a blue image really

I needed a background for my new 45 gallon aquarium and wanted to find something that was perfect. I looked and looked and couldn't find a perfect fit. When I saw this one, I thought I would give it a chance even though it was 4 inches shorter than height of the tank. I selected it because I loved the blue tones, the image and most importantly, because it was a static cling material. I did it by myself, no fancy tools, I may have used a plastic card to eliminate bubbles as I was finishing, but it was not a big deal at all. I did ensure to keep the glass and cling as wet as possible in the process. I couldn't be happier and I love how it looks with my tank.

After spending 15 minutes wrestling and trying to open the package I just threw it away. I can't believe a company would actually wrap something like this. My time is worth more than the time it would take to open it. and now, after reading a lot of reviews that say the picture is crap, I'm glad I didn't go any further. If you like puzzle boxes then this background is for you!

Read the comments before purchasing this background and I was a little skeptical at first. Everyone was "ALMOST" right about it being difficult to get all the bubbles out. After a few failed attempts I decided to spray some water on the background and man let me tell you everything was smooth sailing from there on. The water makes it much slicker to put on thus making it easy to just slide the bubbles with a credit card.
