Ridiculously bright, rugged, but finish wears easily, and it needs a clip
This thing is completely amazing, and has become my primary go-to flashlight... I've probably sold several LED lensers just by showing people what it can do.It will last forever... but would it have killed them to include a clip? I'd rather have that than the giant, obtrusive and loud velcro case. Also, be warned that while this is indestructible, the finish WILL wear, and you will end up with an aluminum colored flashlight over time if it sees enough use.. If you drop it, you will end up with a shiny chip or dent... While the lightweight metal contributes to useability, note that it will deform/dent relatively easy. However, I suspect that it will still hold up extremely well over time - it will just have battle scars.Of note is the box that this comes in - It looks like it's meant to be more to show off than to use, with the way it's packaged - It's impressive, to say the least, and is a mark of quality, but it imparts a sense of fragility that I do not think is fair to the product. These gripes are minor, for sure, because at the end of all of this, it's about utility, not style - This will last a lifetime, and outperform most others in its class. If I could put it at 4.5 stars, I would...EDIT: After 1 year and 2 months of ownership, and nearly daily use, this has held up wonderfully.... I've dropped it, accidentally submerged it, and it just keeps going. I did have an issue with the switch, where it wasn't staying on consistently - but the warranty service took care of that very very quickly and with no questions asked. I'm upping this to 5 stars because I haven't really missed the clip, and it has help up FANTASTICALLY. I now only buy LED lenser flashlights - Every one is fantastic, and their warranty support is superb.

Good light
This is a very good light for the price. I had one a year ago and my kids lost it during a bond fire or I would still have it. I like the 3 levels of lighting and the sliding bezel for focusing. I considered a much brighter light with a different company but I had so much success with this light that I chose not to make the switch. I work in manufacturing and believe it or not, you can have too much light for certain applications. If you are looking for a durable light at a good price, I would recommend this one. I've used it for hunting, work, taking the dogs out at night and working on my vehicles. Every time I leave the house, night or day, I have my LED Lensor T7 with me.

Great light, darn bright for an AAA flashlight.
I got this mostly because it was one of the few that carries AAA cells and so far i only got an 2 AAA Minimag light that is ok. This light has 3 separate modes, at first i didn't realize that the max setting you have to push and hold the light part way but there isn't much of a bright difference so you might as well just hit the switch instead. This is a great light for several reasons, one being this is like a Maglite with flood and spot beams so Maglite users will definitely love this light. The run time on this light might not be very much on it's high setting, though i have used this with the batteries that came with the light and i racked over an hour so it seems that 1:10 is a bit short but this light will stay light for longer than that. Maybe it won't stay at it's peak lumens after that time but it's fairly good. For the most part i do enjoy this light it is easy to carry and it's a wonderful EDC (everyday carry) so you'll get a nice light when your out whenever you need light. The LED looks to be replaceable and user serviceable so you can use this as your go to light and have an extra LED in storage, though i have yet to figure out if there is a replaceable unit somewhere. The only problem this light has, not sure if it's nitpicky or what but with the Fenix lights i have (the E25 and LD41), saves the lumen setting you last had it on. With this when you hit it it's cycling through the 2 different modes, high and low so when you need to switch it off and on again, it's back to the high setting and you'll need to click it again to get to the low mode. This may not be bad if you really want the high at first but it would be nice instead of cycling it through with the button it should have the ability to switch to the mode you want and be able to turn it off on that mode. It bothers me because i don't want to use it in pitch black and be blinded by the high setting, i could probably cover the light until i cycle it to low but i guess after having Fenix lights you get used to it. Otherwise, this is a great light!

Overpriced
This flashlight is OK. It seems to be of good quality, but if I had it to do over I would probably go with MagLite. A 3 D-cell MagLite sells for about $12 less and is also a quality flashlight that will most likely have a much longer battery life. The reduced light level provided by the three function switch is not very useful and probably will reduce switch life by having to activate it 1/3 more times than a standard on/off switch (having to activate it 3 times to go from full on to full off instead on just twice). I have not had a reason, nor do I ever foresee a reason, to not use it at full brightness when on.

Not sure why but these flashlights I am having a problem with the battery corroding in them. I have used the same package of batteries in other lights without a problem but these have corroded and failed. Also the switch on the base has failed on one that I own. Would not get this one again.
