First I'd like to say that I purchased these to use as tie downs to keep equipment from shifting in my kayak. I have no complaints with them for this purpose. I decided to try and use one as a key chain since that is what they're intended for. I had to constantly tighten the screw connection together throughout the day. I had them hanging form a d--ring on my belt loop in the grocery store and the screw came loose. All my keys fell to the ground. I went back to a good ol' key ring.

Manta rings are exactly what they promise to be - high quality, sheathed steel cable key rings. They're bomb-proof, flexible (both in their construction and their uses) and dependable. There are lots of cheap versions of these available - but MantaRings are my go-to.

I used these to hang an aluminum address sign on my pole light in the front yard. These are nicely made and very tough. when screwed together, I pulled on them and could not break them apart. I did use some blue Loctite on the threads on the sign. I am impressed.

this is a great, quality product, but beware, they will loosen in your pocket and come apart. To stop this, put a drop of nail polish on the threads and no problem anymore. It's too bad that a locking feature could not be included in the design. Worth buying and using. Recommend Highly A+++++
