This is just what we needed. It is quite durable, flexes, but will stay bent.

Kind of love this little device, at least the idea of it. I didn't check measurements or really think about it too much but it's girth is wider than expected and thus harder to use in my tiny NYC retail store. It's definitely a niche product once asked to add anything to the world of extension cords. At its most basic is a fully functioning, very good quality, fairly priced, extension cord. Once you get to its more gadgety features, things get too specific. To get it to go up anything, it has to coil around it and thus you need the space for that so nothing against walls like a table leg. A ladder? Yes. a photo light stand? Yes, but it's also kind of short so harder to get to where you need it. I abandoned my original idea for it but it solved another problem. I'm using it along the wall for something on wheels that gets moved all day long. I love it b/c I no longer have to worry about the wheels going over the cord or the cord curling out of its hiding place so a customer can trip, get hurt, sue me and ruin all our lives so I give it 4 stars! It's handy but you might not use it for what you intend. FYI, the packaging is a beotch. You'll need a hand saw.

I DJ for side cash at times and this came in soooo handy! The bend is easy and it stays with some weight on it. MacBook Pro charger (which is not light!) and mixer power cord (also not light) and it stays at an awkward extended angle! CRAZY IMPRESSED!

I was so excited to find these extension cords on Amazon. I tried to order them directly from Quirky last Christmas, but they were out of stock. I recently purchased three of these...one for each of the fathers in my life. These cords are the perfect gift for older people as it allows access without bending. The cord is flexible and be turned so that the extension outlet is level with a bed, chair, desk or sofa. It can also be wrapped around furniture. These were a hit with all the fathers and they are already saying they need more!

I had a specific need for this cord and it does the job. I wish the coil part was a little stronger. I'm sure in some situations it is plenty strong enough, but if it is extended horizontally and has something with a little bit of weight to it, it will want to droop more than you may want. Again, for my needs it works great, but I took off a star because the coil needs to be a bit stronger.

I bought one of these last year and we use it in the garage. My parents came over last week and mom saw it ... she's a DIY'er and fell instantly in love with the handy gadget. I thought she was going to leave our house with it ... so I ordered one for her. When it arrived she tore open the packaging and started wrapping it around stuff. Not only handy, but apparently fun too. Highly recommend!

The coil part is not stiff enough I put it into a position and it fights to move back to center I still had to put it through a hook on my table because it didn't give a tight squeeze and would slide down. But cool idea just wish it was a stronger coil if I wasn't a twist and lock on anything type of coil because of the pictures it might not have been such a let down.If your looking for something to hold on to a thin pole or rod this wont do the trick

I have 5 of these cords now. They are the BEST thing ever. No more bending down low or trying to reach the outlet in the wall, from behind things. The plug is "right there" for you. Im getting older, and have back issues, so these are SO wonderful and helpful for me. Love them. You can wrap them around pretty much anything and they stay! You will not be sorry with these. Get them for your parents/grandparents!! They will appreciate them!
