Crush by Kim Karr is the second and final book in the Tainted Love Duet. Crush cannot be read as a standalone novel. The reader must read “Blow” first.“Blow” certainly develops the passion between Logan and Elle, but “Crush” leads us into the consequences of Logan’s choice and possibly the end. Logan and Elle are caught in between a violent underworld and help law enforcements regain the reins of Boston. To the law enforcements they’re just pawns and a means to an end to what they really want, but there is one major player that has his own hidden agenda and Elle will be his end. He has no limit and if hurting an innocent child allows him to achieve his goal, then that is what he’ll do. There’s one code on the streets that he’s always lived by and that’s a life for a life. Their love will need to be as strong as ever. This author did an astounding job in wrapping everything up. Crush is one of those books that I tried so hard to finish reading in one sitting. I needed to find out if Logan and Elle got their happy-ever-after, but at the same time the suspense was killing me!This second book in the Tainted Love duet picks up full speed from the end of Blow and is not a fluffy love story. There were moments in the story line when I was surprised that it took the turns that it did. I wanted to know everything all at once with Michael and Lizzy yet at the same time I didn't want the story to end. I was angry that Logan's past had to come into play with everything too. The parts of it that still haunted him broke my heart. And the same thing with Elle too. As she could get closer to Logan, she let fear get in the way, and I would curse at my Kindle each time.When they would be together, the friendship and the love scenes between the two of them... chemistry, chemistry, chemistry. As the world around them kept them apart, they were drawn to each other and needed to be together. This added so much more to the suspense as I wanted them together sooner, but wanted Elle safe, and to find out what happened to her sister. I needed answers about the other gang members and Logan's father and little Clementine too.As one of my favorite authors, Kim Karr brings me through all of the emotions and Crush was the perfect ending. So many elements in this will make me want to reread it again and again. The angst, the suspense, the grit, the love, the steam, and Logan's romantic side all come together perfectly for me.

Crush is one amazing ride of mystery, suspense, and love. After the ending of Blow I needed Crush ASAP. I needed to see where Elle and Logan's story went and who was behind everything going on.Crush starts up right where Blow ended, and Logan is doing everything he can to keep Elle safe, even if that means leaving her to protect her. Throughout this story we really get to see how truly in love Logan and Elle have fallen, and everything they would do to keep each other safe.There is so much that happens in this book, that it makes everything we went through in Blow seem like small potatoes. This is a story that is extremely fast paced, and very detailed. I was on pins and needles trying to figure out who was behind everything that was happening to Elle, her sister, and Logan. Every time I thought I figured out who was behind it, I was thrown for another loop and to say I was shocked when it all came out is an understatement.Not only is this book full of suspense and twists and turns, we also get to see Logan and Elle work through their relationship. Their time alone always happened in a part of the book that you needed a break from all the WTF moments, and was perfect and extremely sexy. These two belong to one another, and I loved seeing them move their relationship forward. Things were not easy for them, but I loved how things turned out for Logan and Elle. The epilogue of this book was unlike anything else in the book, and gave me the warm and fuzzies, which is not how rest of the book was!So much happens in this book that I just can't write about because it would majorly spoil the story for anyone who has yet to read it. I will say though, I laughed, I cried, I was angry, and I was thrown for so many loops while reading Crush, and I loved each and every minute of it. This duet is a beautifully written romantic suspense that is perfect for anyone looking for something different to read. Kim Karr writes a story that will have you second guessing everyone and everything.

OMG!!!!!!!What a rollercoaster....this was amazing. When I read Blow I thought it's just a month to wait for Crush, but Jesus...it was well worth the wait!!!This book has every thing you could ever wish for in a story.....Suspense, vengeance, violence, betrayal, kidnapping, mafia, turf wars...God I could go on, the twists and turns in this were just fantastic. This book kept me riveted, my heart beat that little bit faster, my stomach was on edge, like you could feel the story was about to take another turn but didn't know which way....I loved it. It's been a while since I've read a mafia romance that's done this to me.Logan Mcpherson...what a man. I loved him and Elle when they first meet in Blow you can feel the sexual tension, you could cut it with a knife...it stayed that way all way through the two books!!! I really liked the side characters too. Peyton was the classic best friend, not whiney and just stood by her friend when she was needed too, Declan and Miles too were brilliant...I'd love to see a book for Miles though!!!I can't go into the story as there's so much to say about it and I'd never stop...but I will say this book has just brought me out of the biggest book funk I've ever had....Well done Kim Karr...absolutely AMAZING...Loved this duet, I'd never read anything from this author before Blow but my god I'm a fan now!!!!!5 big mafia stars!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

There is more excitement, action, thrills and complete lust is this complete thriller of in this second novel to the amazing series, The Tainted Love Duet. After finishing the first book, Blow I just could wait one minute to start this story, Crush. Such another most wonderful romance.Logan is back, and he knows who's done wrong. He is angry. And he wants to destroy all the danger from his past and especially the future. Tommy Flannigan has wronged and he will be destroyed. No one was safe near him either. And he will not hurt his relationship with Elle either.I adored this awesome suspense and a complete thriller and a roller coaster that wouldn't stop. Such a unbelievable range of characters too. Many thanks to the author Kim Karr, Such an unbelievable novel that I just so loved!!* I recommend this book to everyone!!

Ich lese sehr sehr viele Bücher, aber Blow und Crush sind etwas ganz Besonderes. Sie fesseln dich von Anfang bis zum Ende. Man muss einfach weiterlesen. Ich habe beide Bücher innerhalb von 12 Stunden gelesen, weil so fesselnd waren.Genau die richtige Mischung aus Spannung und Liebe. Bis zum Schluss weiß man nicht genau wie es ausgeht und die Liebesszenen sind heiß heiß heiß!Absolute Weiterempfehlung!! Die besten Bücher, die ich dieses Jahr gelesen habe!!Kim Karr's Meisterleistung.

I loved this book and could not put it down. I'm glad that Elle and Logan got their happily ever after.
