Got the exact belt I needed. Fit my mower perfectly.Took about a week to get it, but Amazon has spoiled me to expect 24-48 hours on everything ;)

This seemed a little large for my riding mower even though it lists my model in the compatability chart. I feel like it was an inch or two too large. It was flopping around and fell off a few times before I made some major adjustments to the rollers and pulleys. Might be totally fine for you so be diligent and mindful.

This is the actual belt specified for my Snapper rear-drive mower. It's clearly a better belt than the generic version I was using.

I installed one back in 2014 and got over 7 tough years of use out of it. Was still working well but thought I should replace while replacing the other belt. Replaced it a year ago with a cheaper brand. The knock off belt failed in a year. Replaced the cheapo with a Murry belt. I ought to get 7+ years out of the new belt!

Bought as replacement worked out good.

My Briggs and stratton motor atop my Craftsman (Model 536.887990) snow thrower, utilizes this and only this belt.Other (replacement) belts soon burned up and shredded as they were (just) too tight and did not have the smooth exterior required for smooth operation of the auger drive on my machine.My Machine operates correctly and smoothly only with this belt due to exacting standards of my snow thrower.You get what you pay for.FYI for owners of this machine (The manual is INCORRECT) regarding belt removal/replacement.To replace either drive belt, there are 2-4 screws located just below the screws that hold the pulley cover in place.After removing the pulley cover (2 screws), Remove those 2-4 screws mentioned and the machine separates in half for easy access to the belts.The only thing at this point is making sure the pin holding the belt to the auger pulley moves and stays out of the way when separating and putting it back together. The pin is located at the bottom end of the adjustment for the auger drive belt, so just push on that adjustment lever and the pin will move away from the pulley.It "now" takes literally minutes to replace belts as needed.The manual is Waaaay off and appears to describes how to replace belts on their newer machines. ?????If not for someone posting the video showing how to do it on the internet I never would have known.

This auger drive belt is OEM replacement for Sears Canada Mastercraft snowblower, Sears Canada no longer exists. Real need for this part and was delivered on time at a reasonable price point. Most importantly the belt is not available anywhere else and the quality and fitment are as OEM.

3/8 inch by 33 1/4 inch long. 1733324SMA lot of the newer 3/8 inch belts have the grooves or cogs on the inside of the shorter belts.The reason is because with the grooves, the belt can make tighter turns or smaller diameter turns without binding the belt on a sharper bend plus it helps it to run cooler with the less severe stress from the bend of the smaller diameter curves on small pulleys.When a belt makes a tight bend or curve on a small diameter pulley, it generates more heat and stress when under use.The 'Grooves' or 'Teeth' acts as a 'Relief' so the belt can bend sharper without binding.
