Gefen Gluten Free Israeli Couscous, Original, 5oz (2 Pack) Gluten Free Pasta Alternative

We've been eating this on a regular basis, it's easy to make and always good with our couscous recipe.

Waste of money. This is not couscous. Maybe trying to be pearl couscous, but failing badly. Will not buy again.Also, the amount in each box is about half the traditional weight.

This is an excellent side, we cooked this in chicken broth for extra flavor... This is an excellent substitute for rice, pasta and potatoes... and because it's a grain it has a lot more nutritional value...

Used this producing a Mediterranean dish

Haven’t even tried the product and I may not. In these day of the pandemic I like my food to be well packaged. This is not the type of product to be shipped in a bubble envelope. As you can see from the pictures, the packaging provided zero protection and the box is so damaged that it is open. I would like to add that these were ridiculously expensive for the quantity. Is gluten free couscous really worth THAT much more than regular. Yes when companies extort those of us with wheat allergies.

I love Couscous but I will be throwing out what wasn’t eaten from the first box and don’t think we’ll be using the second box. This couscous has a plastic feel to it. I’ve had much better GF couscous previously. Followed the cooking instructions on the side of the box. Maybe cooking it differently would help.

I was happy to find a gluten-free couscous. The flavor was good, but it was a bit gelatinous. Not sure if I did something wrong or it is the product. I will buy again to try.

I do like this product, but it does not “fluff”. It gets very sticky - which is still yummy but I guess you just can’t expect gluten free cous-cous to be perfect. I would definitely buy again seeing as I burned the second batch by accident.
