This product is such a gift. For years, my 7 year old stepson had no concept of sound, he relies solely on ASL, and is non-verbal. I decided to try out this product to see if it would provide insight into the hearing world for him. It works! It’s unclear the severity of his deafness, but he is most comfortable with “Setting 2” “Mode 1”. (My husband who is considered “profoundly Deaf” was able to hear a little at “Setting 4”. However, if you are profoundly Deaf, I would recommend this as a last resort/ emergency back up, it’s best to see the audiologist). Due to COVID-19, accessing an audiologist is a little more difficult, but considering that this is his first experience with sound, it’s really incredible ESPECIALLY for the price.I also really appreciate the charging capability.So far, I am very happy with this product.UPDATE: The battery life on this device is surprisingly long. In terms of use, it’s being used for a couple hours each day. It’s been 1 month and it’s still operating on a single charge. The ringing that another person mentioned only happens if the ear piece is dislodged from the ear, it does that to alert the user (who does not have full capacity hearing) that it is not in proper placement. We had to swap the ear mold piece for the smallest one since a child is using it, and he was uncomfortable using the default one. Since he doesn’t typically wear it, the only issue he has is wearing it for an extended amount of time because he is not used to having something in his ear. Aside from that, he has enjoyed the sense of sound.

The product works very well when using specific settings. However, sometimes the hearing aid, especially when put on a volume of 3/higher will have a consistent pitch noise that is shocking and hurtful to the ear. I also used every ear piece, thinking there was feedback going back to it causing the noise, but still no luck. This would not work in a noisy environment. However, temporarily it will do for my 98yr old grandma.

I got this due to almost total hearing loss in one ear. ( Long story...but I have "Sudden Hearing Loss" due a side effect of a medication). I was told that an actual Hearing Aid would only magnify the distortion (like increasing volume on a blown stereo speaker). This device allows me to hear conversations near and across the room much better! I also can now hear my general surroundings much better (oncoming traffic while crossing the street, if I left a faucet dripping, knocks at the front door, what my sneaky dog is up to, etc.) It has a few different frequency settings which is nice. Depending on where I am and what is going on I can adjust it. I usually have it on the very lowest setting and that is plenty loud for me. It is very comfortable to wear and easy to charge and operate. It has made a huge difference in social situations, taking care of business, and feeling safer. I did start off using it in quieter settings and in short sessions to not overwhelm my brain, and worked up from there....otherwise it would have been too much of a good thing for me personally- but I tend to like my quiet time more than most people. I plan on buying another for a spare because I love it so much. I did not realize how much I was missing out on, and now am able to join conversations without straining or avoiding them all together. I hope more colors become available soon. This is a great solution at a reasonable price. I am not affiliated with this company in any way. This is my honest, personal experience and opinion. My mother-in-law needed a hearing aid but they are so expensive. I found this hearing amplifier for an affordable price with good reviews so I got it. She says it is very comfortable and easy to adjust the volume. When she wears it she can actually carry on a conversation. I love how much easier it is to talk with her over video chat.

I bought this as a gag gift for my mother who always jokes about not being able to hear and needing a hearing aid.... I thought it would be funny. Joke was on me! She actually uses it, and loves it! This was the best gift I could have gotten her! She literally wears it everyday at work, and also at home watching while TV. Her words were "This is awesome! I can hear!".

I was hoping this amplifier would be my answer to expensive hearing aids, but it just didn't quite get there. First, it fell off my ear too easily. Maybe the style or weight of it caused that, I don't know. Second, it mentioned that the "background noise" could be tuned out. That was not the case. In fact, the background noise seemed much louder, regardless of how I adjusted the settings. Sadly, I had to return it.

I really like this little hearing aid. It worked great right out of the box. I didn’t do any adjusting, just charged it up and put it on. It works better than my other hearing aids that I have tried. I really like the small size and it tucks easily behind my ear. So far it has worked great for me and I like it so well, I ordered another for a backup.

I’ve been diagnosed with a brain tumor and lot my hearing on one side. I just started losing hearing in my left ear and was scared I wouldn’t hear my 6 month old say her first words before I went completely deaf. I don’t go back to my specialist until July due to Convid-19 so instead I ordered a hearing aid so I wouldn’t have to miss it. Well this is awesome I heard her say mama and I’m so blessed I didn’t miss it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart thank you
