Strong horsepower and can quickly smash the meat!
This is my first grinder, it can do everything i want it to do. It is easy to clean or change blade, it takes me a long time to cut the meat by knife, This machine saves me so much time. It really helps me a lot! It is easy to assemble. It has strong horsepower and can quickly smash the meat. I also use it on potatoes, carrots and other vegetables, also works very well. I commonly mix veggies in when i grind my sausage up. Works great and tastes great and make meat go a bit further. I would recommend this product!

EXCELLENT home grinder. Perfect for home use.
So, admittedly, i dont know much about these things, but i've heard my brother, who's a trained chef, talk about getting the grinder attachment for his stand mixer a few times and thought this would be a good gift for him so when I got the chance to review this unit I was happy to do so.My brother and I sat down and went over the whole machine pretty thoroughly. He taught me what everything was used for and we even did a small batch of hamburger meat. He was VERY VERY impressed, especially with the power (800 watts) and quality of the cutting blades.I was personally surprised at how light the actual machine was. It's not more than 3-4 pounds, but has quite a bit of power. One of the other reviewers commented on the noise. It's on par with a hand mixer honestly. You're not going to have a deep conversation about shakespeare when you use it, but maybe when you're grinding meat you should be pay attention to what's going into the machine and ponder poetry later when your fingers aren't at risk. I didn't find the noise to be an issue at all, like i said, on par with a hand mixer. Our only criticism is the shredder attachment being made of plastic. My brother pointed out that it's probably fine for home use, but if you were going to be grinding a lot of carrots or hard cheeses like Parmesan on a daily basis it's probably not going to last long, but if you're just using it for occasional home use like most of us will be you should be fine. It's intended for home use anyway, not commercial kitchen use.The meat grinding attachment is all metal and very well made. We expect to get a lot of use out of this. Also note that the manual specifies that it needs a 10 minute cool down after 10 minutes of continuous use, which isn't surprising given the amount of power this thing has. This is pretty much the perfect option for seasonal use like deer hunters making sausage and the like.I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. This review ABSOLUTELY represents my true and honest opinion about this product. If it was crap I would absolutely say so. Check out my other reviews if you doubt :)

Good fro home use.
Very light weight. Have to hold the motor cabinet when grinding or it rocks like crazy. Found I have to dice meat pretty small or it jammed a lot in the extrude holes.. A friend in the food service industry gave me a great tip to reduce jamming. Put the mat and metal parts in the freezer for about ten minutes before using it and the meat doesn't stick as much. Overall, does the job for occasional use at home like grinding hamburgers and sausage meats. Haven't tried it for vegetables yet but see no reason it shouldn't do the job.

Great quality and great value
Very high quality for a great price. Works great on grinding meat for fresh burgers and sausages. There are numerous attachments which makes it versatile to use for meat as well as vegetables. All in all, great for home use and is easy to clean. A lot of fun for someone interested in making their own fresh burgers and sausages.

Warning - Do Not Purchase
Made with defective inferior metals. The Ad states stainless steal but it is not. I used my unit just one time and the chrome looking metal surface washed off while cleaning leaving a dull lead like metal surface. When you touch it the gray metal rubs off onto your hands. I don't know what kind of metal this is but it is certainly not something that you want to use when processing food.

Good for occasional use
I bought this to make my own cat food. It grinds fine but I dislike how I have to turn it off every 10 minutes for 10 minutes so it doesn’t burnout the motor. I’ve used my neighbors meat grinder which was just as basic but a better quality. This grinder feels cheap in comparison unfortunately her grinder doesn’t have the brand on it. If your just using it ever once in a while for small batches of meat your probably fine. I wouldn’t get it if you intend to use it heavily.

Worth the money....
O.k. so I used the grinder for the first time about a week ago. I had no problems at all and was really happy with the results. Although I only had to grind three pounds of pork butt for some venison snack sticks it worked very well. It took less than a minute and the grinder was very easy to use and clean. So far I can say it was worth the money....

good
The Homeleader Meat Grinder is a very durable product with many perks. It comes with three different attachments for various cuts of meat. Its safe to operate as well as set up. The steps are simple where we need to cut the meat into smaller pieces, and with two buttons, you’ll have well-grounded meat. The quality is good and the meat doesn’t stick to it. Cleaning it has never been easier until I bought the Homeleader Meat Grinder. Overall, I think this is a great grinder for the given price. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
