Good finish, great figure!
I bought this as a birthday gift (along with Spartan Tanaka) to my little nephew who is a big fan of Halo and he absolutely loved them. The overall finish is quite good. I'm sure my nephew would definitely not be looking whether this figure's painting as a bit off or not but I'm sure there are older people out there who may like to collect this figures and have a stronger critique on the finish. If you're buying this for a young child, then it's definitely a great item. It may be a bit pricey but definitely worth it if your child/nephew will love them.

Awesome Spartan
I bought this action figure back in 2015 for a little under $15. I totally think he was worth the money then because of the detail. Now, he's selling for over $50. I wish I never would have removed him from the packaging lol. I can't justify spending $50 on him now, but he's still a great product for any collector!

Not the Figure you're looking for
This is BY FAR the worst Halo 5 figure available. The Joints are restricted, it can't hold the weapon and once out of the package it looks very goofy in person. I would rather learn how to make action figures, spend the money on the resources and make a different figure than spend the 3 seconds it takes to order this guy off Amazon. He looks OK if carded on a shelf but after that its basically a statue.

Great!
Really cool. Bought 2 for gifts and they look awesome. The kids really loved them and they are very detailed. Mcfarlane did a great job!

Hardly posable - have to hack with exacto knife
The artistic design is pretty great for this model, but the mechanical/physical build is rather awful! My halo 3 McFarlane models have incredible articulation that afford them a plethora of interesting poses. This guy, however, can barley move his legs at all. In fact, he can't even hold his rifle with both arms (handle in one hand, barrel in the other) but they don't move in a way that allows it. I ended up cutting the model up in a lot of spots around the ball joints with an Exacto knife so I can get the poses I want (or at least as close to them as I can get). I probably won't be getting McFarlane figures anymore if this is the new standard (the Halo 3 ones were so great though! So great!)

He weebles wobbles and certainly falls down but at least he looks good doing it.
So I purchased the Chief and Locke figures hoping to be able to pose them together in a sort of interesting way reflecting the game (Locke giving chase to the Chief or with their weapons drawn on each other, etc) But these guys just don't like to stand up on their own outside of a typical out of the box pose. I mean seriously my alcoholic and blind aunt with a peg leg has better balance than these guys. If you intend on posing these, even if in a way that they stand on their own I'd still recommend securing them by some means. Also just like the Chief figure the paint job and details on both the figure and weapons are amazing and make the purchase well worth it. Sure you can get him to hold the guns but good luck making it look believable like it is in the box. Lastly a warning about the included BR, the tiny muzzle snaps easy. Mine was bent one way out of the box so out of a very foolish attempt to straighten it back it gave away and WHOOPS I effectively turned it into a sawed off. A little super glue should fix it up and it in no way affected my score of the figure. Just be prepared for a limp barrel or to super glue it back on. Overall I would definitely recommend these figures for yourself or as a gift.

Great to Pose, Not So Much to Play With.
It's a great figure to use as a collector's item, but I wouldn't recommend it as a toy for someone's child to play with. The first time I took mine out of the package, the left leg fell right out of the socket. It fits back in just fine, but the leg will consistently fall out if any more than a little pressure is put on it. But, for the price, I am extremely happy with the quality and design of this figure.

Great detail.
More expensive than the others. But more detail.
