Exact Replacement Water Valve
This was an exact replacement cold water valve for my front loading LG washer.Watched videos online on how to replace the valve and it took me maybe 15 minutes to open up the washer casing and replace the water valve. Saved BIG bucks with this replacement valve as a repair dealer would have charged up to $200+ for the valve plus installation which was a no brainer.

Easy enough to install
My washer indicated by error code that there was a water valve malfunction. I looked up the washer model # and matched it to this item and ordered. I also looked up and watched a "how to' video on replacing it. It was every bit as easy to replace as the video indicated. My washer has never functioned better since it was new 5 years ago.

It works!
Our LG washer's cold water valve failed after about ten years. Thanks to Amazon I've been able to keep the thing running in an affordable fashion, having replaced the hot water valve a year before. It'll take you less than an hour if you have the right tools to replace your faulty valve with this part.Tools I needed to do the exchange:- Phillips head screwdriver (to unscrew the lid fasteners from the top of the washer so I could slide the lid off)- Pliers to open the hose clampsAdd a little elbow grease and that should be all you need. I'll update the review if the part suffers premature failure. But if it doesn't and it's at least as good as the original, then it should last ten years...in other words, it should outlast the washer, which I'll probably replace in about five.
