Not sure of the quality.
This bulb is not used as a light or heat source, but rather as a UV source for disinfecting purposes. I read a lot of negative reviews where people were trying to use this bulb for other purposes. This is a negative review as the bulbs did not work. Neither of the two worked when I went to replace a bulb that was failing.

Works and good value.
No complaints and good value. Works… and I have a spare for when it is needed. For some reason, many vendors are unable to send to either my address or to a residence??? Have no idea why, but this vendor had no such restrictions. And for this, it is another plus for them. Also arrived on time, well protected but not overboard with that.

Fits the GermGuardian UVC air purifier
I replaced my old bulb for my 10 yrs old GermGuardian UVC air purifier. It fit and it works. I was able to use it again.I also have another spare of Bulb in case the bulb goes bad in few months or years.

There is no peg on top to snap in place
On my old bulb there is a bit of glass peg on top to cause lightbulb to snap into connection. There is no such piece on top. Will not make connection. Does not illuminate on either of 2 bulbs.

Works well for the intended use. A bit underpowered for anything else. These are low voltage bulbs by the way.

too much mercury?
These bulbs turn shiny and metallic looking after use, regardless of the AC voltage supplied (i tried 10.5, 12, 14, and 15VAC) - i bought three of these lamps, and all three have gone metallic.Not sure if manufacturing issue or the way they're designed to be driven with power and i'm doing it wrong, but that's my review.

Back ups ready
I got these because this is what my bathroom air freshener uses and I'm getting these now because as we all know, they change models/designs after a few years and then you cant get parts anymore. Getting these now so it wont be an issue for some time to come!

Did NOT work!
Neither lightbulb worked. Waste of time and money. Bulbs "fit" the Germ Guardian -- same size and length as original bulb...tight to get even slim fingers into the unit to change. Does NO good if they don't work. Returning immediately.
