Works Perfectly
If you have problems seeing the sights on your trusty old model Savage combo gun (mine is a 22/20ga) and think that a Red Dot sight might help but you can't find a mount that will fit the grooved top barrel - then this is the product to solve your problem. It is easy to attach, it clamps into place solidly and allows mounting of a Red Dot or scope simply. As a bonus (on mine anyway) if you want to remove the scope or Red Dot, the mount can be left in place without interfering with the original sight. It is just what I have been searching in vain for until now.

Not a Perfect Adapter
It is cheap and poorly design without possibility center rail over bore. It have no tension screws only clamping screws. It is weaver style rail mount and this is not stated in the description. It may work sometime and sometime is useless and scope may run out of windage adjustment.If picatinny style mounts are used the front block is only is only a placement holder.

ONLY fits the Savage 24 with the grooves will not fit all 22/410's
The description is misleading. Several places it says "all 22/410's" it means ONLY savage 24's with the grooves also misleading is the picture caption that lead me to believe they were "curved" and thus would also clamp directly to the barrel. If they did fit Id say they are over priced. I wont return them maybe sometime in the future I may get a savage 24. My stevens 22/410 is apparently a 1939 model. Me and the USAF think it's a good combination (yes I know it was the Army Air Corps then). So I'll be dissapointed but will hang on to them just in case. I will give them kudos on shipping speed and correctness of order I give them a one for the confused product description.

Awesome Fit
Perfect Adapter worked perfectly. Fit was right on. Took very very little pressure to snug it tight. Mounted a See All open site which I also purchased from Amazon. Great combo.

Absolute Great fit......... love it............ I am mounting a red dot and this adapter allowed me to achieve a perfect fit, now I can go back to shooting...... I removed the large scope I had because of weight and bulk ..... Thanks guys you "done good"...!!
