Moen DN2622BN Glenshire 24-Inch Double Towel Bar, Brushed Nickel

Good quality product and good pricing. However, the installation took much longer than normal. One of the mounting brackets did not fit in squarely with the towel bar. When I went to tighten the set screw with the Allen wrench, it would not grab. Solution: I had to put a small piece of cardboard under the lower bracket mount behind the lower screw so it would stick out far enough for the set screw to grab onto the towel bar housing. The instructions did not mention this. I am very mechanically inclined, but for the average joe, it would have been tough to figure out and would have probably resulted in a product return. Moen has a slight misdesign issue on this particular towel bar. I have bought other Moen towel bars and never had this issue. If it was not for the installation problem, I would have given it a five star rating.

I bought this to replace a Delta double towel bar where the rods kept falling out of the brackets. From what I can tell, the brackets that hold this unit up is designed differently than the Delta where it seems that the rotation I saw in the Delta would be impossible for this towel bar. It comes with a long template you can tape on the wall so the spacing of the mounts are perfect. The directions were not too clear though but it's pretty simple to figure out. Place template on wall, drill holes where the mounts on the picture tell you. Very simple, took me about 10 minutes to put up. The rods do spin a little but I haven't had any issues with the towels rolling off. We use the thicker Hotel towels on the top and bottom rods and it's held up nice for the past 3 months.

Look great, well made. There's not as much of a spacing as I'd like between the two rods. If you put 2 reasonable towels (I don't even use plush towels), they'll probably touch each other and I'm sure that slows drying.It's difficult to orient the two brackets such that both of the rods are held tightly, so one or both will probably rattle around a little when you manipulate the towel. I used felt tape to tighten up the ends so they don't wiggle around.

Liked this item. Was a little more difficult to install than some of the others. The double towel rack is great and makes a bathroom look more elegant. The towel bars do spin though when taking a towel off if not careful some of the others may come too. That aspect is a little nice if you are using the big heavy bath towels on the back rack - makes getting them off easier. I read another review that said put electrical tape around the ends when you install it to keep it from spinning, but hubby put them up before I could tell him that.

Great for storing two towels (duh) without having to bunch them up or fold them while wet.I know Moen has a good reputation, so I was surprised to find that the product felt a little bit cheap. There was a small dent in one of the rods, but we used that for the back one so it was less noticeable. The rods clatter around when you pull a towel off of them.

Just installed this rack in my newly remodeled bathroom...the rack it self I'm perfectly happy with... it exactly what we wanted...what I'm not happy about is the mounting hardware included...it had me drill 2 5/16 holes for drywall anchors for a mounting bracket roughly 2 inches in size... and as you can see in the picture that just ripped all the drywall between the drilled holes out... thankfully i had a set of narrower anchors that ACTUALLY did the job except now i have to patch and repaint my wall... thank you moen for ruining my wall

We bought this after we found out this was the same design style as our Moen Glenshire Oval Tilt mirror that we just purchased.The instructions are easy enough to understand, they provided all the hardware you need, and the template makes it easy to install. We are very pleased with our purchase!We also read a review that mentioned the towel bars themselves "spin" around rather freely once installed. Thanks to that tip, my husband just put a little silicon plumbing tape (just once around each of the ends of the bar) to take up the space just enough to keep the bars from moving. We can hang our towels without fear that they will wind up on the floor!

I was looking for a double bar where I could hang the dish towel in the back and the hand towel in the front and I like the simplicity (ease of cleaning) of this bar. The challenge that I had not expected was that the round bars rotate fairly easily if the towel is not hung evenly. I never wondered why bath towel racks have square rods but now I know.

I don't like this towel bar as well as I thought. The bars are loose and it is hard to tighten it to the wall. My husband work with stuff like this all the time, so he knows how to put them on the wall. It also came loose off the wall. Disappointed.

My husband is a reno contractor, so he has put up many,many towel racks.This rack has fallen down several times, good for a month, then falls off the wall. Don't waste your money on this rack.
