Delicious! Exactly as advertised.
Kamut is a type of WHEAT. Yupik makes NO claims this is gluten free. It is however, wonderful for anyone w. sensitivity to oats. ☺ Love their rolled Barley (not gluten free) and quinoa flakes (gluten free) for making granola!! Fresh, good quality flakes. Delicious as cooked cereal or added to baked goods (although, granola is still our favorite!) ♥ Find Yupik brand to be consistently fresh/ quality products at fairly reasonable prices. I've purchased several types of flakes, grains, seeds (quinoa, sesame) Very Happy with everything.

Great spelt flakes, error on nutrition label
Great spelt flakes. Just note there is an error on the nutrition facts. The serving size should be listed as 1/4th cup, not 1/8th. 1/4 of a cup weighs 30 g not 1/8.

Good taste, but not really flakes
I love the taste and texture of kamut wheat. I bought this for making my own granola because every commercial granola is too sweet for my taste. The taste and quality of this product is good, but it's not really rolled out fully into flakes, so granola comes out like horsefeed. Even though it didn't serve the purpose I bought it for, it still makes a very good hot cereal, so that's how I will use it. I would buy it again for cereal, but I have to look for something else for making my granola.

I used this to make muesli with oats and nuts. It added a good chewy texture and nice taste.

I use this as a rice and pasta replacement
I eat two tablespoons of this for breakfast every morning along with two other grains. I love the smell and the texture. It has a very light smell and I will keep you full for a long duration of time without having a mass amount of calories. It doesn’t spike my blood sugar as high as most grains. It only takes 6-7 minutes in the microwave for it to be completely cooked. I use this as a replacement for oats, rice, and pasta. This is my go to grain. Out of the three grains I eat this is my #1 favorite. I repurchase this every couple of months because it lasts.

My favorite
Much healthier alternative than regular oats. I love to blend them with coconut milk, green banana/plantain, and put on the stovetop to make porridge. My absolute favorite comfort meal. Can also be used to make granola.
