My all time favorite pen.
I’m left handed. Also a nurse. So I am very particular about my pens. This pen (I use 0.5 and 0.7) is fast drying so for lefties, it will not smear. It writes smooth and does not skip which I think happens often with left handed people because we are “pushing” when writing rather than “pulling” away. The casing is durable. So you can always replace the ink. Very easy to use.Highly recommended for lefties. (Also Pentel Energel 0.5 or 0.7 needle tip is a close second to this pen for me as lefty)

Best pen on the market
This is by far my favorite pen, easy to grip, glows effortlessly across the page and thus far have not experienced any leakage, the quality is superb and these pens last and are worth the money.

I dig these pens!
I'm kind of particular about my pens. I work in an Industrial Machine shop, so my pens see some more than regular abuse in their day to day lives.I really like the way they write. It's very smooth, and I haven't had one run dry on me yet. The ink sets up within a second or so of being on the paper, which is slightly faster than many other gel pens like this. Might not be great for a left handed writer, but I'm not sure any gel pen is.The metal clips is also a must for me, as I take my pen out of my pocket about a million times a week, so normal plastic ones break well before the ink runs out. I have yet to break the clip on any of them yet.The .7mm writes perfectly, but when I tried the .5 it was a little scratchy and I'm not a fan of that style. The only time I had an issue with one of these was when I dropped it from a pretty high place and the tip landed directly on concrete. This broke the tip and let ink run out of the head of the pen. This was not the pens fault though, and all the other drops, even from similar heights, have caused no damage at all so they're fairly tough by most measures.I'll buy more when the thieves steal them all, or I run out of ink!

You just want the dang pens for the best price, right? (You can stop browsing now!)
Have you been looking at identical boxes of pilot precise v7 pens for over 15 minutes? Jk - you have no idea how much time has elapsed. That’s how this game works (spoiler: it doesn’t work for you). Just. Stop. Browsing. Now. It’s impossible to compare products and take an informed decision: you could be here for years. And 10 years from now - heck, 15 - you’d still have no idea which is the best deal with any certainty. Why is this happening? I can’t answer that - but I can save you right now. Buy these ones. And for the love of god, spend some quality time with friends and family, or get down to writing… life was hard enough. Now we have “dynamic pricing” and billions of vendors selling identical crap. Save yourself. Just buy these. The one Amazon feature that actually helps? That would be the little button that tells me I last bought these in March 2024. Thank you for that ONE THING. God bless you, this place is forsaken. It these pens…the pens are good.

My favorite pen…
Why do I love the Pilot V7? Let me count the ways…First, for my street cred: I’m both a copywriter/editor and an artist. I used to teach college comp too. This has been my go-to pen for years and I own A LOT of pens.I love the V7 size. There really is an occasion for every thickness of pen. While the V5 and the V10 are in my pencil box, the V7 mid you’re looking for when you want to edit an ad or not down some notes. When writing, it gives just the right amount of resistance making it firm and smooth. The ink flow is steady and unwavering. Very reliable for a gel ink.The black ink is a sharp and rich black.Every gel pen will smudge if bumped right away, but the Pilot V7 dries pretty quickly to avoid most smudging. Any paper bleeding is non existent to minimal. I mostly use quality papers so this is not a problem for me. Sometimes you can see it a little through my Moleskine pages, but I think that says more about their declining quality than the pen’s.I love the clip and the clickable style. This pen is hooked to my shirt collar almost every day. I am shamelessly all nerd.

Very Smooth writing but kind of pricey
If you are looking for a smooth writing pen, you would definitely love these. I ordered these pens after being given one by a coworker. Pros:-I write a lot at work. My job is 100% charting so I need a GOOD writing pen.. These are awesome.-I have found that my handwriting is more legible with the needle point tip of these pens. I fell in love with them right away.-I have rheumatoid arthritis and sometimes have pain in my hands. These pens are very comfortable in my hand. I am able to grip without any difficulties.Cons:-Kind of a bit on the expensive side for the amount of pens in the box.-The pens usually come with a tip on the end of the pens which gives me confirmation that they weren’t used prior to my use; however, with the box I recently received, tips were missing on most of the pens which was very disturbing to me.I would order again but if I can find a cheaper option, I would definitely be willing to try that option.

Excellent Writing Instrument
Last couple of years writing for me has become a bit difficult do to slight arthritis.hence pens are something I struggle with. STD Ball Point pens don't work that well as it requires a bit of pressure.in my younger days I did use Pilot V5, but those too I struggle removing the lid and putting back.when I notice these are retractable, I thought let me give a try. These pens are excellent!!!!, smooth effortless writing.I am planning to get blue ink one's

Good, but with a major flaw
I'll start with the positives. The pens do write clear, and the ink does not smudge. They are also comfortable to hold. The downside is that the needle tip means that it is not as smooth and effortless across the paper, you sense that you are scratching the paper to write. I would not recommend these pens if you write a lot, there are better/smoother pens that will serve you better.
