Cleans well and disinfects the system properly
Used this on our new to us '13 Sienna van, the previous owners were smokers and we could smell hints of cigarette smoke every now and then.I normally use BG's Frigi-clean to sanitize the hvac system in my vehicles, but its getting harder to find and more expensive, I decided to try this product.Right off the bat, it does not have the same scent as BG, so while it "looks" similar to frigi-clean, it is not. No biggie, its a lemon/citrus scent, mixed with the smell of ammonia. Its strong, but dissipates relatively fast, and in 3 days of driving the vehicle, there's no hint of ammonia at all.I ran the whole can through, stopping and draining about halfway through the can to make sure its doing its job correctly, by spraying it through the drain tube of the hvac system at the passenger footwell. It comes with a conical fitting made of plastic that does not stay in place at the drain outlet, since that too is plastic, but I had some silicone hose laying around that "adapted" the two parts together nicely. I think the conical fitting should be made out of something a bit more flexible, rather than a hard plastic, as this would fit a wider range of applications, but that's just me thinking out loud! After draining the system into a tray, I sprayed the deodorant through both the intake at the windshield as well as the inside filter's opening (removing the filter first, of course). This also is a citrus-like scent and not offensive or overpowering, and the wife likes it more than BG's frigi-fresh scent, so that's a plus. Its now a week later, and the first time I've been back in the van since doing the cleaning, there's no hint of cigarette smell, and it seems to be clean and fresh without any chemical smell at all, so its done its job properly. The only negative thing about this kit, aside from the conical fitting, is the cap with the hose it comes with. It immediately started leaking when I snapped it onto the canister, and I ended up dripping the chemical on the floor mat of the vehicle which stained them slightly (WeatherTech mats). I pulled the cap back off and bent the cap upward to keep it from continuously spraying without my finger being on the tab, so pay close attention to this when you snap the cap on for the first time, and do this outside of the vehicle so you don't get the stuff on your carpet/mats.I'll use this product again if/when my vehicles start smelling musty, its good for the price and definitely does its job.Update, 12/11/17All the stink has left the vehicle! There's no residual smell from the chemicals whatsoever, nor is there any hint of mold or smoke at all! So far, so good! Its now heater weather, so the heat has been going full-blast for a few weeks. Even with that, there's no hint of any smells at all, wife is happy, I'm happy, everyone is happy!!!

Seemed to work well form me on a toyota
Used this on a toyota 4runner as preventive maintenance and to get rid of a lingering smoke smell from previous owner. Instead of using only the bottom drain hose, I shot the first 3rd of the bottle into the small blue cap on the evaporator housing found on the driver's side kick panel inside the vehicle. While that was draining, I then shot about a third of the bottle through the evaporator drain hose from the bottom of the vehicle (as the instruction actually tell you to do with the whole bottle). On my 4runner this hose is actually accessible by opening the hood if you reach down far enough, so I didn't even have to get under the car or lift it. Then I shot the remaining third through the evaporator housing again. The smaller can went through the vents as instructed. Did the trick, no more smoke smell and less expensive than the toyota kit. The hose is re-usable and high quality as well.

Excellent evaporator coil cleaner for my Tahoe
The HVAC system and Chevy Tahoe’s has a horrible problem with musty odor’s. I rigged up a Schrader valve so that I can quickly inject cleaner for a quarterly cleaning.Anyways, this particular cleaner and deodorizer work flawlessly. Much better than some of the other stuff I have used

Worked OK, but Aerosol can ran out of air first
This product did clean my A/C system and get rid of the musty smell, but there was a considerable amount of cleaner left in the aerosol can when it ran out of air.

Easy to use and it works!
I had previously sprayed two other products into the ducts. They made the system smell nice for several days but the stinky mold smell always came back. This Subaru product sprays directly into the evaporator case through the drain tube and kills anything growing in there. It's been a couple months now since the treatment and the AC still smells clean and fresh.

It works, but you need a tube and nozzle.
It works well, the best price. I give four stars because the bigger can does not come with a tube and nozzle. Also, the big can makes amonia smell that I dislike, but the small can will take that smell away and fix my car a/c bad smell. Therefore I recommend this item.

It works and doesn't require any tools.
Easy to use - though you do need to access the underside of your car - and effective.Works on cars other than Subaru. That's just name branding; I used on a Toyota Highlander.
