Great desk chair
This is a great low budget full featured chair. Assembly was straight forward with no surprises. The seat and the back each have their own recline adjustment as well as chair height and arm rest adjustments. Limited lumbar adjustment though by moving the entire back up and down. Overall great value and comfortable. Suites what I needed it for.

I bought both the Flash Furniture Mid Back Black Mesh Chair and the SPACE Seating Professional Dark Air Grid Back w/ Black Eco L
I bought both the Flash Furniture Mid Back Black Mesh Chair and the SPACE Seating Professional Dark Air Grid Back w/ Black Eco Leather Seat.I needed two chairs for my home office as I often have clients over. At the time of this review, both of these chairs are number one sellers on Amazon in their respective categories. At my previous employment I had an Aeron chair and funny enough I actually like both of these as much if not more. The Aeron had better casters and quality of construction but I always found it kind of mushy, and I had to constantly re tighten the arm rests as they tended become loose from their settings after a couple of hours.Consensus: Pleasantly surprised by both of them and I’m giving them both 5 stars for value and comfort. Note, I’m only in my first week with both.- Ease of assembly – Assembled both chairs within 15 minutes. The SPACE was in particular really easy. Both have the identical number of bolts used in identical places (10 for each chair). The Flash had slightly weaker instructions but overall both were very easy to assemble. I particularly like the touch of the SPACE chair where they warned on the box “don’t use a knife here to open” which could have led to cutting some of the fabric with a large knife.- Comfort – I am 5’ 9” 220 lbs (body builder) and I found both chairs very comfortable. I prefer a firmer cushion and good back support - both were excellent. Same thing on leg height. I had no issues with long terms seating when with past chairs my legs and ass could go numb. I’m currently using the Flash more, but that is because if reading a book or gaming, it’s nice to be able to tilt back. The SPACE has better casters and is better for hardcore grinding away at work if you want a rigid back. I’ve noticed people complaining that the chairs don’t go down far enough. At my height no problem. Especially once I added blocks under my antique oak table lifting it up higher. Perfect ergonomic feel now compared to what I had before.- Quality – The SPACE (made in Taiwan) has better quality construction and materials than the Flash (made in China). Aesthetically I find the SPACE better looking, The Flash has some nasty silver flashing on it, cheaper plastic, and IMHO leaving the nasty dust guards off made it look much better. If I had to bet money on it I think the SPACE will outlast the Flash. The quality of the cushions on the SPACE also seem a bit higher than the Flash.- Value – For the comfort I have now, if these chairs last a couple of years it’s an outstanding value. I seriously considered getting another Aeron and I’m glad I didn’t. I’m part of a start up now and I’m getting 90% of the comfort from the Aeron for literally 1/7th the price from each of these chairs. AND I now have two chairs. Killer value.Overall: Depending on what you want from an office chair they’re both great. The Flash has the advantage of adjust-ability for different seating postures but the SPACE wins when it comes to old school, rigid back grind it out comfort – it just feels a little bit more stable.

Good Quality, Good Seat-Cushioning, and Good Lumbar Support Mesh
I've been using this chair for 5 months before I wrote this review. I've had no damage issues and the quality hasn't declined with daily use. This chair is a good purchase for the price and quality of the product. I'm 5'8" and around 145 pounds. I use the chair daily, and will be in it for 8 hours a day during college terms. The chair supports my lower back well, and the mesh on the back of the chair is firm enough to support but elastic enough to still be comfortable and conform to the contours of my back. The chair has enough adjustment mechanisms to keep the support focus on the lumbar spine, while tilting the seat at the correct angle to prevent tingling in the lower legs. The seat has firm cushioning, which keeps the chair comfortable and doesn't generate sore spots after repeated hours of sitting. Assembling the chair was simple enough. If you can assemble IKEA furniture, you can assemble this chair. I had no issues with shipping damage.I will mention 3 downfalls to the chair. First, the arm rests tend to rattle around when they're in the lowest possible position. The rattling stops if I raise their height, but the desk I sit at won't allow me to raise them beyond the lowest setting. While it doesn't affect the quality of the chair or how I use it, it's fairly annoying to hear the rattling basically every time I move the chair to sit in it, or pretty much any movement of the chair. I haven't tried to stop the rattling, but I would have to try and figure out how to remove the arm rests which is more time than I want to spend on a manufacturing issue.Second, this chair's lowest height setting seems fairly tall for someone of my height. I have it at its lowest setting, and my legs are just at the ideal angle to keep my feet flat on the floor. I can tilt the seat angle to help a little, but it's worth mentioning in case you are shorter than me. This could be addressed by placing something on the floor for my feet, but it's not ideal to do so.Finally, the seat cushion has a mesh liner covering it, which means small particles can end up between the seat and the mesh liner. Since I eat at my desk, small food particles can end up in that space. This is a minor issue, since a general sweeping motion with my hand or a towel will eventually catch the particles and send them flying onto the floor.

It's good until it isn't - and then customer support is terrible
For the first few months this chair was great. It's overall comfortable and exactly what I was looking for.Issues: Then the adjustable seat back wouldn't stay in place vertically, so it would continuously slide down no matter how tight the knob was turned. And then the creaking started. Non stop creaking. I tightened every screw and it didn't make a difference.Warranty / Lack of Support: This chair has a 2 year warranty. Within the warranty period I reached out to Flash Furniture. It took over weeks for them to even acknowledge my claim. Then they opened a ticket under a mattress - which was obviously not what I had purchased. Finally they said they were 'shipping me a part to fix the issue' without confirming anything (shipping address, what this part would do, etc.). The part was shipped and I watched it travel on FedEx from Georgia, around a few states and back to Flash Furniture in Georgia. I still don't have it and no one is answering me.So at this point I'm shopping for a new chair. Warranty is useless - beware.
