Pentel Fude Brush Pen, Sukiho (XFL2V)

...love it. I'm a little heavy handed for this pen but my only problems with it are strictly user error. Has a wide range from very detailed to broad depending on your control. The more I use it the more fun I'm having with it, highly recommend.

I just checked the mail today, and I found the pen in there! I don't know when it arrived, but for an order I placed seven days ago that was supposed to be here four to five weeks later, I'd say that's pretty good! I havent used it much and I've never used it before, but my roommate likes it for calligraphy. Edit: I've used it a bit more, so I can comment on it specifically now. I've never had one before, so this one is taking some getting used to. Before this, my tools were basically 3 inking pens, of 0.8 0.1 and 005 thickness. When I first started using the pen, the thinnest I could write was a thickness between that of the 0.1 and 0.8 pens, and I couldn't get a solid line. After continuously using it to try and write my name in fancy script for ten or so minutes, I noticed that the lines had become more solid and I could also write to a very thin line thickness. I compared it side by side with my pens, and I could write as thinly as the 0.05 pen if I tried. I think I need to practice more, because writing thinly is like writing on air! I know for some of the other pens in this listing it says that theyre too thick for drawing, but this one works very well. After breaking it in, I can definitely recommend it.

Very nice pen. Tricky to figure out how to start ink. Remove red ring and reassemble. Then squeeze ink into brush.

Bought this pen for calligraphy lettering (it came up when I searched on fine point calligraphy pen), but it doesn't work well at all for this purpose. The brush tip is very thin but it's much too long. Also, I almost returned it because I couldn't get the pen parts back together again after I removed the red ring. You have to screw in backwards... not lefty loosey/righty tighty.. the opposite! I doubt I'll ever use it but it was only $5.50.

Just like all in this line, I Love these pens. Have several diffirent kinds of brush pens, Pentel, Kaimei, Kuretake and the Pentel Arts Pens are the true value beasts. You CAN refill any of these specific pens. Simply remove brush end, pop out the little end piece (has a long straw like piece attached) rinse it out (and the brush tip!) refill with whatever ink you choose ( I use Golden’s High Flow Acrylic Carbon Black). Make sure to put the regulator straw thing back in, it snaps in, replace brush and proceed as usual. The Extra Fine tip rivals the best Kaimei weasel pen and the Platinum CF 5000, for way less $$.

It's good quality ink and brush, though the bristles will be rather stiff at first. Make sure you have good, absorbent paper.

This pen is perfect for adding character to art projects. Your success will depend on practice and how the pen is held.

What can you expect from pentel. Brush pens aren't easy to master , very good product. Smooth ink flow. I wish they had definitions for each model of pentel brush pens , cause the model sukiho looked normal and I couldn't find the difference between the medium size model

Von sehr fein bis dick, mit diesem Pinselstift kann man wunderbar malen und schreiben. Die Tinte ist tiefschwarz und fliesst sehr gut nach, ohne zu tropfen oder zu verschmieren. Lediglich in der Beschreibung hätte ich mir zu den vier angebotenen Varianten mehr Auskunft gewünscht, darum doch, trotz gutem Produkt, ein Stern Abzug. Was unterscheidet Sukiho von Bold oder Schwarz oder Tsumiho? Nach meiner ersten Bestellung (schwarz) hat mir der Stift so gut gefallen und ich habe auch noch Sukiho bestellt. Es kam aber wieder der gleiche Stift...

仕事やちょっとした筆書き用に購入しました。これまで安価な筆ペンも使ってきましたが、これは明らかに書き心地が違います。穂先のしなりがちょうどよく、力加減もしやすいので、思った通りの線が引けるのが気持ちいいです。にじみも少なく、文字がきれいにまとまるので、普段あまり筆に慣れていない自分でも扱いやすいと感じました。 【良かった点】 ・穂先のコントロールがしやすい ・線の強弱がつけやすい ・にじみにくく仕上がりがきれい ・初心者でも扱いやすい 【悪かった点】 ・特になし 全体として、少し価格はしますが、その分しっかり書きやすさを実感できる一本です。長く使うことを考えれば納得できる品質で、安心しておすすめできる筆ペンだと思います。
