Good performance for price, does what it needs to
The EVIL ENERGY universal baffled oil catch can has worked well so far and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The build quality is good for the price point—the aluminum can feels sturdy, the fittings seal well, and nothing about it feels cheap or poorly made. The internal baffling appears effective, and it’s clearly designed to separate oil vapor and moisture rather than just being an empty container. Installation is straightforward, especially for a universal kit. The included hardware and NBR fuel hose are usable and functional, but I would recommend getting additional fuel hose. Depending on your engine bay layout and where you want to mount the can cleanly, the included hose may be a little short. It works, but extra length makes routing much cleaner and avoids tight bends or stress on the fittings. In actual use, the catch can does its job. It collects oil residue and blow-by that would otherwise be going back into the intake, which is exactly what you want—especially on higher-mileage or performance-oriented engines. The 300ml capacity is a good size: compact enough to mount easily, but large enough that you’re not constantly emptying it. Overall, this is a good value catch can. It works well, looks decent, and performs its intended function without issues. Just plan ahead and buy some extra fuel line to make installation easier and cleaner. For the money, it’s a solid option and I’d buy it again.

Seems solid, looks impressive.
I recently installed the Evil Catch Can on my 2006 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab with the LM7 5.3L V8 (311,000 miles on the clock), and I have to say this is an outstanding product. The build quality is solid, the fittings are secure, and the installation process was straightforward. Immediately, I could see the value in running one of these, especially on a higher-mileage engine like mine where crankcase vapors are more of a concern. What really stands out is how effective it is at trapping oil and contaminants that would otherwise end up recirculating through the intake. That’s critical for keeping carbon buildup down, maintaining throttle body cleanliness, and ultimately extending the life of the engine. I plan on installing a second unit so that each bank of my V8 is covered. To me, this makes perfect sense, since both sides of the engine generate blow-by gasses. It honestly baffles me why so many installs I see only utilize a single catch can on the driver’s side. Having one on both sides feels like the most complete way to protect the motor, especially as the miles rack up. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. For anyone running an LS-based motor, whether stock or with miles like mine, I’d strongly recommend the Evil Catch Can setup. It’s a small investment that pays off in cleaner internals and added peace of mind.

Easy install, good quality parts and hoses included. I recommend the longer hose.
Looks good quality. Hose is good quality . Install was very easy. I DID NOT butcher the original pcv hose. The supplied hose and the space available , you dont need the 90° ends. I used a few zip ties to secure all hoses . Where to put the stainless shaving is not clear. I just stretched it out and put it into the canister as a oil sloshing baffle.

Great product
Works amazing! Surprisingly a lot of water gets trapped in this can. Keeps the oil a lot cleaner with less milking. A+ product, get the biggest one you can fit in your engine compartment.

Quality, well-built product at a good value
A quality, well-built product at a good value. Easily installed on a Hyundai Tucson after watching several videos. The installation instructions could have provided more detail. Waiting to see the results over time.

Install for 2017 Honda Pilot and Ridgeline
Great Product. Some sharp edges, but very nice quality. Cut dogleg off supplied aluminum bracket with a hacksaw and bend at a 90 as shown. Mount to frame as shown with Honda bolt, then drill hole in bracket and car frame for second stability sheet metal screw (not supplied) Engine cover still comes off nicely. Engine dipstick and radiator reservoir 100% accessible. Hood prop clears oil can nicely and dip stick is easy to reach as is can bottom to spin off for maintenance. All hoses are relaxed with no pinch points. This method keeps original PCV hose in tact for quick removal in case of warranty work. O rings supplied are a little small, difficult to get over threaded fitting but they work. Be careful not to over tighten fittings or you'll damage the O rings. The coalescing steel wool supplied is plentiful, enough to change out 3 times. Overall a fun install. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended by automotive engineers. Well built, easy to install, affordable.
Great engineering work.fits most gasoline vehicles. Very easy to install. Might need to get creative with mounting bracket but not impossible. Easy for a DIYer.

Test fit for Chevys...might need to make a bracket.
Well....out of the box it looks like a nice catch can. I got this after watching some videos with the same truck platform. I have a 2006 Avalanche. The bracket will not allow for a good spot to mount the can. I had to drill a hole lower in the bracket to get it to mount onto the engine, holes were to close together. This bracket needs to be maybe 4" taller to allow the can to unscrew. With it how they made it, the can sits on the B+ cable. Tried to move that around but its not budging.
