Oil Catch Can, Universal Baffled Catch Can Kit with NBR Fuel Hose, 300ml Aluminum Air Oil Separator Tank for PCV System

The EVIL ENERGY universal baffled oil catch can has worked well so far and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The build quality is good for the price point—the aluminum can feels sturdy, the fittings seal well, and nothing about it feels cheap or poorly made. The internal baffling appears effective, and it’s clearly designed to separate oil vapor and moisture rather than just being an empty container. Installation is straightforward, especially for a universal kit. The included hardware and NBR fuel hose are usable and functional, but I would recommend getting additional fuel hose. Depending on your engine bay layout and where you want to mount the can cleanly, the included hose may be a little short. It works, but extra length makes routing much cleaner and avoids tight bends or stress on the fittings. In actual use, the catch can does its job. It collects oil residue and blow-by that would otherwise be going back into the intake, which is exactly what you want—especially on higher-mileage or performance-oriented engines. The 300ml capacity is a good size: compact enough to mount easily, but large enough that you’re not constantly emptying it. Overall, this is a good value catch can. It works well, looks decent, and performs its intended function without issues. Just plan ahead and buy some extra fuel line to make installation easier and cleaner. For the money, it’s a solid option and I’d buy it again.

I have a 2018 Kia Soul with the gdi engine so keeping up on maintenance is huge. This thing WORKS! I don't even have any noticable oil consumption but after 1,000 miles I collected about 3tbs of oil/fuel/condensate

I bought these to install on my 2009 Mini Cooper S R56. After much researching of how to help prevent carbon buildup on the valves of R56’s (N14 engine), I decided to buy these based on decent ratings and value. I installed 2 for the separate pvc systems. You can see in the pictures that one has collected a mixture of moisture and oil and the other strictly oil. If it weren’t for the oil catch cans, these would have ended up behind the valves and also burned up in the combustion chamber. That’s at around 3500 miles since the las oil change. The little dipsticks are helpful. Having to modify the connections and finding the correct barbed adapters was an inconvenience but required. There are plenty of videos online to help with installation. I highly recommend this kit which has most of what you need to setup.

Solid feel. Easy install. Gave 4 stars due to holes in brackets were to small and had to be drilled out to 1/4 inch. Liked the o rings on hose fittings and on resivior.

Pretty straight forward haven’t had any leaking or vacuum issues have had it on for about a year now drain it every 3 months does the job collets the oil my throttle body is pretty clean now no more oil sludge seems durable! Definitely worth the money!

Bought this for my 2018 Ram Ecodiesel and it worked out pretty good. The hose that comes with it is not the correct size so plan on buying some 5/8 ID oil/fuel resistant hose I used a little under 6' for my application and I mounted it to the firewall. And you will need larger clamps as well. The can is high quality and the threads are nice and smooth for removing the can to empty it.

Other than all of the hardware and hosing being the wrong diameter the install was pretty straightforward. Quality seems high threads are smooth. You’ll need some thread tape and larger hose clamps and probably larger diameter PCV hose. All in all time will tell how well it works.

So far so good, easy install. Find a place to mount and route it. Not enough miles in to see performance but for a budget oil catch can this is a very good product. The quality is great.

Easy install and works as expected! Had to cut the bracket to install properly but that is expected when buying a universal part for a vehicle. It works but may require slight customization. NOTE: the in port connects to PCV side of hose, and the out connects to the hose on intake manifold just below the throttle body. Very happy with purchase!
