These things are great. This one in particular is inexpensive and does the trick. I have to water the new sod patches in sections. This timer makes it easy: place the sprinkler, set the timer for an hour, and go do something else. I don't remember if there were any instructions or even a box. The only thing for special attention is the little black tab under the edge of the dial at the OUT side of the unit. Press it down to disengage the dial so the dial will turn easily to the desired setting. No batteries, non-rusting plastic, easy to read dial, durable outside, and priced right. Just what I was looking for at a great price.

I use this attached to my laundry faucet in order to add a misting system that went out the window to the kids place set outside. This has been a really awesome choice! I love that I can put it on a timer. I love that I can Manually turn it on and off. It’s worked really well for us! It was also very easy to install. I haven’t had any issues with leaking. Although I have used some plumbers tape to seal off the attachment holes.

Works as intended. Easy to use. Not the highest quality but works.

I love this timer, it has never failed to shut off when timer has timed out. The only issue is I have extremely hard water that can corrode the inside. No fault of the manufacturer, just hard water doing its thing. To make sure the timer lasts season after season just soak in white vinegar every so often and you’re good to go.

Orbit is getting a five star rating from me because of how they made things “right”. I bought this product last year, used it and loved it. It worked without fail. But sometimes things go sideways and it stopped working. I went online, found Orbit, customer service, made a phone call and told them about my problem. They are replacing my unit at no charge. The process took less than 10 minutes to complete. They have a customer for life!

Nice no nonsense timer. Old school, mechanical . Won't break like the battery ones. Yes u do have to set it each time which is great if you don't need a fixed time or duration. Cheaper than Lowes!

We have been using these Timmers for more than eight years now, and they work very well. The only thing I want to warn you about is that they will deteriorate in hot sunlight. They will only last a couple of seasons if not protected from direct sunlight. We live in the high desert area of Central Washington State where the land is scab rock, sage brush, wheat fields, and rattlesnakes, with hardly any shade. The summer temperatures commonly reach the high 90"s up to 117 degrees with little to no rain for months on end from mid-May through the first part of October. What I have found that saves these Timmers is a 2 gallon bucket that I hang on the faucet so that it covers the Timmers from the hot direct sunlight. I hope this advice will help you to make your Timmers last for many years.

Very easy to use. Easy to connect, but it's leaking right now. Hope I can fix that. I've had several of these and they usually hold up pretty good.
