Great for exhaust manifolds but I also use it to tighten the belt on my 60 gallon vertical air compressor. No pry bars or blocks of wood in my application. When placed in just the right spot it helps keep the pump and motor lined up. Depending on your compressor you may have to buy longer bolts or you could use a block of wood. If you buy longer bolts don't forget that one bolt is left hand thread. Cheers!

This tool is amazing
Such a simple thing, but it made all the difference in the world. My husband and I replaced a chevy engine and without this tool would not have been able to complete the job. The tool arrived quickly and was simple to use. The seller packed the item well and we are very please with the whole experience.thank you

Worked great
Have a Chevy truck with 280,000 miles and had to rebuild engine. When I went to put the exhaust manifolds on they were way off. Worst I have seen, this tool forced the ears apart and they bolted right up. Keeps you from stripping the bolts.

Arrived quick, and did the job. Needs 3/4 or 19mm wrench (either fits fine). It did the job of holding the manifold apart enough for me to start the bolts, and run em down.I recommend you use the felpro gaskets with the little dog ears so you can drop them in with the bolts started. Right after you get each pair of bolts started drop the gaskets in right then, because after you have all 6 bolts in you probably won't be able to get the manifold back enough to slip your gaskets in.
