Those saying you're better off buying the jug of washer fluid bc you have to buy the methanol just don't get it. This stuff will save you money by not buying jugs and jugs of washer fluid Everytime you run out. It's so concentrated you only need a few oz per gallon. You can do the math. It wipes and cleans the windshield very well; in rain, dirt, bugs and other grime. I also added rainx water beading solution to also help out the effect . Very easy to mix but watch out getting it on your hands, it does have dye in it so it'll stain very easily on your fingers if it spills.

It works totally fine, it's not going to have any extra "washing power" to get bug gunk off, or any special stuff to help remove ice faster, but I haven't had any issues with it. It's mostly just great to have for the convenience of it- I keep it in the back of my car and if I ever run out all I need is a gallon of water to add it to and im good to go. I still haven't had to try and use it in freezing temps so I guess we will see then how good it really is!

I wish the instructions would say to use with gloves. I looked like a Smurf my hands stayed blue for several days. But I like that it is concentrated. Although my reservoir is smaller that the batch in the instructions so I’ll half next time.

I obviously did not pay attention but this product only works in mild temps. If you want it to work with freezing temps you have to add your own methanol, which is expensive and a pain and just a general nuisance to mix and so forth. So this is a great deal if you need high volume washer fluid for summer or mild temps, but not really helpful for colder climates. Like I said, it's probably pretty clear on that issue but I just missed it.

I can’t believe I hadn’t discovered this before. If you are buying washer fluid by the gallon, you’re buying mostly water but last time I checked was pretty inexpensive from the tap. I just put in the recommended amount into the reservoir and then add water to fill. It takes up less space on the shelf too.
