These are tough and bitter
THe flavor is bitter and the texture is very tough - not what I expected since this is really a tasty treat when properly prepared

Almost As Good As My Grandparents Used To Make…
I grew up on the ones my my grandparents made. I have a bag of dried ones soaking, currently, and wanted some beforehand, so I ordered these. They are pretty close.

Great Product, Acquired Taste Is A Must!
If you have no clue what a Lupini bean is, prepare yourself for something very crunchy and uninspiring. This product is very good, but you must like Lupini beans.

Just like I used to get in Brooklyn.
We used to have these all the time when I was a kid visiting my Italian family in Brooklyn. Theses are as remembered. Living in Texas now , some of these Italian specialties are harder to find. I was happy to find them on Amazon with 1 day delivery. It's a bit expensive though for beans that disappear at one dinner as part of antipasto.

After eating these beans I realized they were good. Just had to wash them and get the bitterness out.

I grew up in Rome, Italy and I can tell you these taste nothing like the ones I used to get from street vendors and stores for mere 100 lire(80 cents).

Too Bland
The product was OK to the extent that I consumed all of it. However, the taste was not as hardy as I have been accustomed to enjoying. It also produced more milky residue than my previous usages.
