Grande 54"W x 90"H Vinyl Trellis

I really like the scale of this trellis, it s very large - width and height - and great $ value. Added it to the side of the house where I wanted the height but have limited side yard width.  It takes some work to assemble. Be sure to layout the pieces, and especially organize the vertical slats by length. I am in MN winter climate so added green treated 2x4's and poured cement footings 24" deep for each side post. I input the 2x4's into the extension legs so the 2x4's wouldn't show, especially because I was not on a level surface so one leg is much longer than the other due to the hill (see photo). To do this, you must rip the 2x4's down in size to fit into the extension legs. I think they should design it so the 2x4's fit into the extension legs without this added step. 90% of the assembly I did myself. My husband did help me lift it into the hole, and level it as I put the footing cement in. It looks great, nice scale, and won't rust. I am planning to plant clematis. Also, the cap pieces were damaged during shipping. The manufacturer very quickly sent replacements, very good customer service.

This trellis was easy to put together with the included instructions. I did attach it to my deck with long wood screws to secure it. I did not bury the ground mounts all the way down as I wanted the height. It looks great with my vinyl railings! I was able to put together and install by myself. Very happy with it.

Looks Great. And they have great customer Service.We bought two. I've had these 10 mos and so far so good. When I 1st installed them they were free standing. We live in Hurricane country, so I was worried about wind damage. Without some supplemental support (a wall or fence), this trellis does needs some extra support. I simply dug a hole that held both the trellis foot and an adjacent 4x4 before I anchored both with concrete. I used an 8' 4x4 on each of the two posts, mounted to the back side of the trellis (you don't see it from the front side). I added some SS ties (  US Cable Ties 20SSN10 20-Inch 150-Pound 316 Narrow Stainless Steel Ties, 10-Pack  ) to anchor the top to the 4x4 posts. Since we were using this for privacy between us and our neighbor's window, we planted star jasmine (that takes a year or two to fill in).9 mos later, my crazy neighbor decided to remodel, so we built a fence, a big fence. We had already planted star jasmine on the two trellis' and I wanted to keep them. Luckily they wound up being near dead center of the fence. And, it really looks nice, the star jasmine hasn't totally filled in, but it's close.Our neighbor wound up breaking one of the post caps after his roofer rained roof tiles on top of the fence from 2 stories up. Can't believe it was just one, they had to have knocked the cr*p of it. The trellis was fine. I called New England Arbors hoping they had spare parts. They actually mailed me a new cap, completely free of charge! Wow, someone in this world does have customer service! Very cool!

Grande Trellis arrived and looked good, it did not come with any instructions or hardware, found instructions on the manufacturer's website, once it was put together we realized it was missing the post caps, emailed the manufacturer and they sent out the missing post caps right away, great customer service, when we went to install it we realized it was also missing the extension pieces to put into the ground, instead of emailing customer service again we improvised and made our own out of wood, inserted the wood posts into the trellis and screwed to secure. It is a very large trellis, we have ours freestanding and doesn't seem 100% stable (maybe because of the missing extension pieces?), would recommend installing attached to a wall. Vinyl seems strong and durable.

You cannot go wrong purchasing from this company…their customer service is TOP NOTCH! I don’t normally leave reviews, but these guys deserve one. I purchased 2 trellises a couple of years ago and due to illness was only just now able to get them put together. When I opened the package, there was one post cap missing, so I contacted the company (per the contact info inside the box) and after giving them the item description…they sent a free replacement cap immediately! You just don’t get customer service like that these days. So “THANKS” Vita…I truly appreciate it…and you!!

A rubber mallet helped me get some of the things in place. But this was amazingly easy to put together and it is heavy so you will need two people to put it in place for sure.

I used it in the front of my daughters house. Very good quality product. Would highly recommend to anyone .

Very sturdy and easy to put together. Looks beautiful to. The only negative was the website had the wrong dimensions listed. This trellis is just under 8 ft tall by 4 1/2 ft wide. I still kept it though. Very happy with my purchase.

Built this trellis yesterday on my own and took around an hour. Very easy to put together and once assembled makes a very large and substantial trellis.Absolutely beautiful product. Well worth the money and maintenance free.

As others have said, this is a beautiful trellis. It went together fairly easy, but with two people, which I recommend.Ours arrived in a damaged box and missing the screws and end caps. A call to the company and they expedited the missing pieces. So a big thumbs up to their customer service. Highly recommended.

It’s very pretty. I’ve got clematis growing on it but the plastic material and the slats are to wide the clematis can’t cling to the trellis. I had to add chicken wire behind it so that the clematis had something to cling too. Overall I’m happy with it
