Vienna 49"W x 84"H Vinyl Trellis

The process resembled a cartoon as some pieces would pop out of their hole in the side rails as I popped others in. But eventually I got it all together. I had to secure it to the fence with woodblocks so it wouldn’t lean. It looks great so far, we’ll see how it holds up to hurricane season.

very nice once its assembled - BUT!!!! you will definitely need an assistant for the the assembly - and I also needed to use a strap clamp during the process - once put together its perfect - for the install into the ground I cut two 1' long pieces of pressure treated 2x4 - (you'll need to cut the width down to fit into the extenders) - placed them in the extenders which were insterted into the Trellis - this gave me the proper distance to set the 2x4's into the ground - then I used a piece of 1/2" plywood about 4" wide and screwed it into the 2x4's - leaving about 8" free that would be set into the ground - I then dug 2 holes at the proper width about 1' deep - put some concrete mix in the hole then placed the 2x4's in the hole - the ply kept them vertical and properly spaced - using a level - I leveled them and plumbed them - supporting them with a couple rocks in position - the next evening I removed the plywood - and installed the trellis - again making sure it was plumb - and held the legs and extenders to the 2x4's with some stainless screws I bought - the screws they give you tend to strip easily and I didn't want to have to deal with it in case I want to remove it some day

I read the reviews for this product before ordering and I should have known better. Many have noted how bad the assembly instructions are and they are right. But that's not the worst.Opening the factory sealed box and laying out the parts I noted something red on several of the parts. It sure looks like blood to me. I was able to clean it off but it was disgusting.Assembling the lower portion of the arbor was fairly easy but the top arch was nearly impossible. You are supposed to put the green dots on the top that attaches to the capital. When I tried that the screws wouldn't secure through the plastic and it was too wide for the base. My conclusion is they were put on backwards. But when I reversed the arch pieces, while it was better, it still didn't secure the arches well to the capital. I struggled with this for over an hour and finally got it to kind of work, but not well.All in all the quality of the plastic is good but the instructions and the fit of the pieces is not good, not to mention the red stain (blood?) on several of the pieces. Would not recommend.

We purchased a New England Arbor 4 years ago and have been quite pleased with it. We recently dug out some old wooden trellises and decided to order a New England Arbor Trellis to match our arbor. We needed two but started off with just ordering one to make sure we indeed liked it for the space and the seller. The trellis came on schedule with no broken or missing parts. Took my hubby and I about 30 minutes to put it together. Tip is to not screw in the arch top screws till you have the arch topper attached to the bottom trellis. We had to unscrew them to be able to get the arch on the bottom trellis. Still super easy to put together! Will share a pic once we install it in the ground with some cement.

My 2 teen grand nephews age 15 & 17 put the (2) trellis and the (1) big arbor together for me in no time. They laid them out on the grass and assembled them and put them together. They dug deep holes in the flower beds and put the arbor in the ground over the wisteria flower beds and it looks fantastic.The (2) trellis they put against the wall for the vine plants to grow on. The 3 pieces look marvelous together.The arbor is well made and easy for my teen grand nephews to put together and the (2) trellis was a snap to put together. The quality’s and the stability is unbeatable for these three pieces.

Nice but make certain that you assemble the arch correctly as it is NOT left side/right side universal. The notches will be in the wrong locations. Someone apparently assembled this incorrectly and bent the (4) "spokes" when they forced the arch together in the wrong positions as I mentioned. How those (4) used bent pieces got placed in my box I have no idea unless they assembled mine without the screws and then returned it. My box had been obviously opened and re-taped poorly. It even had a UPS cap on top of the manufacturers original packaging. I was surprised nothing else was broken but it's very strong stuff. I'll try to get new parts from the manufacturer but it looks great nevertheless. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it had been used and returned and should have never been shipped from Amazon in this condition.

I carefully shopped for some time for some arbors that would both look nice and last a long time. My experience with cheap wood arbors is that they do not last long. I looked into having some custom-made ornamental iron ones made but did not really have a clear design in mind for them and I also did not want to wait a few months to get them either. These were just the right size to use up against a wood fence in a narrow planter. They have nice styling. Instructions were clear and they proved easy to assemble. I like the feature that the leg extensions that you can concrete in if you wish to add stability are attached to the main body of the trellis by screws. This way if you ever want to move the trellis you can just unscrew the extensions and move the unit somewhere else. There's no need to possibly damage the unit trying to break it loose from the concrete.

We love the look but Putting this trellis together really tested my patience. All the 14 pieces that make up the body (not top round with keystone) are loose so trying to force the pieces to stay in place is a challenge, even with my wife helping. I ended up securing it with bungee cords to keep assembled parts from slipping out. The top is another challenge as it seems assembled it is many inches too wide to set into the base legs. I think some pieces may have warped a little during shipment but don’t understand the top being too wide. Customer service was great by sending me new arches which worked well.

The arches were labelled wrong L/R which left it too wide for the base. So i read other reviews and realized they were labelled wrong. Also there were corners cut off the end of arches at the top where screws were to be placed to the top ornamental piece. We had to jury rig it by screwing from the back to secure the bottom of the arch at the top. Tedious …

Ich bin kein Fan von Kunststoff im Garten, aber dieses Rankgitter ist so hochwertig, dass man schon sehr genau hinsehen muss! Ich habe schon eines, seit drei Jahren, es wird im Frühjahr gekärchert und sieht aus wie neu. Soetwas bekommt man nicht in Deutschland , ich bin begeistert !!

Precision fit and finish and no need to pull your vine down as no refinishing required. Costs about the same as if you made one yourself and saves the two days work in doing so.

Excellent product! Quite easy to assemble as a single person! Little bit tricky to drive the screws into the material, as they easily slip on the surface. But took me under an hour to assemble! And I am very pleased with the classical New England look!

Clematis plant is growing really well around this Trellis, looks amazing
