I gotb one of these to replace an old halogen spotlight that had long since stopped working. The light was very easy to install, the hardest bit was taking the old halogen light off as it screws were all rusted.The light came with all the screws to mount it on the wall. The black front surround slots over, then twists into the main body, so you need to be careful when drilling the mounting holes to ensure the eyelid is horizontal.This light of course is not as bright as the old halogen was, but then again uses a fraction of the electricity and is bright enough to light up our back patio area. As an added benefit it looks good.

I ordered this last night after a solar one failed after just two days. I was concerned this might look too small but actually on the wall it's fine. When it came to installing it (and I'm a tradesperson so get used to putting all sorts of stuff) it was a faff to get the back off - admittedly it's cheap but once I got into it, the first thing I noticed was the fixing points were not all aligned so basically you need to mark on the wall when the unit and half light is level to know where to mark the holes if that makes sense? It wouldn't take much to align these.Secondly there is only a rear entry cable grommet - it would also be nice to have a side entry point - I created one with a drill bit. Once aligned and fitted it was quite simple.I forgot to take daytime pics but as you can see at night it's great - mine in down the side of the house and I fitting a 3 pin plug and a timer on it so it can run all night for me as it's only a temp solution for a few months.

Good looking light for outside and gives a good light.

Easy to install with electricity entry from rear, I had to drill a couple of holes in the side as I needed the power cable to go into the side. Given the attachment of the front face to the unit requires a small turn of the front face, the hole in the front face needed to be a little larger than the cable to allow for the turn.The units are certainly 'cheap and cheerful' and I do not know how they will stand the test of time (either the waterproof rating or the light quality) but at the cost of just c.£15 each I certainly will not complain.I purchase 2 units and the light quality (colour and brightness) was the same from each, which is a good sign that the LEDs used are properly colour binned.

Brought this as a replacement for very old lamp type, Its not really designed as a retro fit, the cable entry is on the bottom due to all the led s, this means you have to either reposition the fitting or extend the cable, also the cable inlet is not designed for twin and earth but more for flex, also when fixing it, to the wall you have to of set the back to make sure the "eyelid" is level.If you are putting up it new then its ok, but beware if you looking for this as a replacement.Once it is up thought it does look good and give of a good light.

Preis in Ordnung, schnelle Lieferung. Qualität entspricht auch dem Preis. Plastik und etwas wackeligen Blende. Alles im allen,für diesen Preis OK. Je nach Untergrund, verzieht sich beim Befestigen der Lampe das Gehäuse und die Blende Sitz dann eventuell nicht ganz straff und ist somit etwas zu locker auf der Lampe. Habe oben eine kleine Schraube ,zur Sicherheit rein gemacht. Erfüllt ihren Zweck und ist nicht sichtbar. Licht auch ausreichend, habe sie in Taglichtweiss genommen. Würde sie wieder kaufen,sind schlicht und passen eigentlich überall dazu.
