It's o.k
I like some things about this tablet. I purchased it to use for sequencing music in Cuckos Reaper, to alleviate problems in my mouse hand. It has some really great features such as numerous quick keys on the edge of the drawing area. However there are a few perplexing issues with this device. The most noticeable defect is the auto-power off "feature" which turns the device off after a minute or two of inactivity. While working I often switch between mouse, keyboard, musical keyboard, and mixer. This means that the adesso is constantly powering off and I need to wake it up again by tapping on it. While this may not seem like a huge problem, it becomes massive when you have to deal with this 10, 20 times an hour. It is a real work flow killer but even worse it interrupts any sort of creative flow I have going. And it is supremely annoying. Based on this alone I cannot recommend this product to anyone. I honestly wish that I had saved up and bought a wacom for more money. There are some other minor problems. For example some quick key combos will not work with Reaper. I emailed support a while ago and have yet to hear back. They responded saying they would look into the problem, but then nothing. Not even a simple response saying that they were unable to find or fix my issue. This device has a lot of potential and I can see how it might be an excellent product for some people, but for me it is not a great fit.

not too bad for the price
the tablet offers a lot for the price, considering the size and features. It is a great solution if you don't want to invest a fortune for your equipment or need a backup tablet. What disturbs the work flow is that it 'goes to sleep' even if you put the pen aside for only very short time and then you have to tip several times on the tablet to 'wake it up'. The tablet showed considerable scratches from the pen after only one week usage and the surface lost the shine quickly. I would have given at least one star more, wouldn't there be the customer support, who is slow, not very cooperative and smug on top of it, when you have a question or need replacement of pen etc. The pen replacement tips (which come with the package) is all you get - there are no more after you have used them up, you then need to buy a new pen, which is completely different to what you got used to. Even if I got used to the Adesso tablet, my next one will definitely be a wacom again, where a professional and first of all friendly customer service comes with the purchase.

A great buy
I have been practicing digital art for a little over a year now. This is the second Adesso Tablet I've purchased. I started with their cybertablet 12000 which works fairly well, but wanted to upgrade.I've only had the M14 (this one) installed for a few moments and already I love it. The scroll buttons seem a little odd to me, as they both scroll in the same direction, but they work well. The 4000 LPI resolution allows me to do cross-hatch sketching very accurately, and the 1024 pressure sensitivity works like a charm. I've never used a WACOM tablet before, but I can't imagine it being any better than this unless it does the work for you.I haven't bothered with the shortcut keys yet, as I can't think of any reason for them, but I'm sure they work just as well as the other functions.Easy to install, easy to use.If you'd like to see what I've done with Adesso's Tablets, check out my deviantart page. Great investment toward my future!
Since the moment I heard that digital drawing tablets were coming out, I knew I wanted to try one. I have always been a traditional artist, and have shied away from digital art as much as possible. As I've studied art (working on my Illustration degree), I have found that more and more works of art have become somewhat hybrid. Many works are started traditionally, and finished digitally. I came to the decision this year to invest in the Adesso. The screen is huge, compared to most, and I love that about it! It gives me so much more room to work in. I am currently working on illustrating a graphic novel. My plan is go hybrid with my panels. I will still draw them traditionally, but will finish them and prepare them for publication, using my Adesso, and my Adobe software. I feel the purchase of my Adesso is an investment into this Illustrator's future career. Thank you for carrying such a high-quality product at a price I could manage!

Media Graphics Tablet never installed.
This product arrived well-packaged and in good condition, but when I attempted to install the drivers, my computer froze up and would not reboot, even in safe mode. I finally had to pay a computer shop $175 to repair Windows XP. After using the computer for about a week, I decided to give the product another chance - same story. I then paid the same computer shop $195 this time to repair Windows XP OS and supposedly install the drivers. The drivers never installed, so I never even got to use the tablet at all. The tablet manufacturer only said, "We never heard of that before", so I spent $140 for the tablet and $370 in computer repair, and finally sent the tablet back for a refund, which is on its way to me. (I'm still out the $370 for computer repair.)

Adesso Graphics Tablet
Got Painter Essential 3 and need a tool for input? This works well. Some of the other graphic tablets are just as good at twice the price. I use mine as a mouse and graphics tablet with my laptop PC. It plugs right into the USB port. I take it with me to the park and sketch birds and squirrels.

Adesso Graphics Tablet
For several years I had been using a Wacom Graphics Tablet and just loved it. I am now using Windows 7 and could not find any updated drivers for this old tablet. I purchased the Adesso Tablet, as I did not want to spend a lot of money on a new tablet. It is perfect in it's performance and I absolutely love it. I purchased the 12x7.25 in. #4000. I would recommend this tablet to everyone. I work on a lot of graphics, and each day that I use it, I enjoy it even more.

Media Graphics Tablet 4000
I bought this for my son to get him started on graphics design and such type of softwares. However, he has not used it extensively to form a sound opinion on the product, other than it appears to work as expected. I will probably post a review in a few weeks when we know more about its features and limitations.
