This is the best nail polish I've ever used I want to buy more colors. Their new gel couture bottle has a thicker brush which makes it easier to apply, and it looks like a gorgeous manicure that I got i salon. The color is perfect and I love it

I love it! Perfect formula, beautiful pale pink shade, milky finish. I am not pink nail polish lover but this one just perfect and I ll purchase again definitely.

I love this nail polish and have several colors. The only issue when purchasing from Amazon is that some of the colors are misrepresented. For example, V.I.Please is actually a pinkish/fuchsia red and not the rose red shown. The Essie Gel Couture topcoat is my favorite as it is what really makes this polish shine and last. I even use it with other polishes and it helps them to dry faster and always gives a great shine.

The pictures show what 3 coats, 2 coats, and 1 coat of Matter Of Fiction looks like. Usually when I paint my nails I just do 2 coats of color, but this polish requires 3. Either way, I really like the color and I would recommend it if you like Ballet Slippers from the regular Essie line (this is slightly more pink than Ballet Slippers)

Got “Moment to Mrs.” which is a bubblegum pink with subtle sparkles in it. It wears and looks NOTHING like other Essie Couture gel polishes. I love the glass-like shine of the solid Essie gel polishes but the glitter one I got is not even close! CLUMPY, messy looking, not smooth! Even with 3 top coats to attempt achieving that glass-like shine that’s typical for most Essie gel couture products!!! DON’T waste your money! Mine was peeling after a few hours ( also NOT typical of other Essie Couture gel polishes!) they really need to redo the formula or something for this one! Now I’m stuck with this $11 polish I can’t return ( per the policy) and won’t ever use! Save your money and time!

I was nervous to try this product. The reviews are good but interesting. I have a very physical job and am always up to something. Most polish doesn’t last more than 2 days for me. Some is chipped by the same evening. I can’t afford the cost and inconvince of salon appointments every two weeks so I figured the $11.50 for this was worth a try, if it worked. Perfect. I LOVE THIS! It doesn’t last 14 days but it lasts 6 for sure. I don’t keep colors on for longer than a weeks at a time so it’s perfect for me. I loved it so much this is my second Essie purchase! Worth the money!

I was a bit apprehensive when this arrived, as it is VERY bright in the bottle. However, it goes on very smooth and has a thinner application than expected - no air bubbles or goopiness. The application brush is the newer Essie version, wide & thin, which is very well-suited to their formula (much more so than the skinny brushes). The color is a nice, medium berry that isn't too warm or too purple-y. I am very hard on nail polish, and it lasts quite long for me, as long as I wrap the tips well. As someone who trends towards more neutral polishes for my fingers, it's a surprising favorite.

I think this Essie gel polish is great because it is so easy to put on, you really only need one coat, and dries very quickly. The only problem is that when it starts to fall off you have no notice. As with regular nail polish it slowly chips away, this just falls off when it's done. All of the sudden I will notice one nail has no polish on it, but because of its ease of use, I will continue to use. Especially during Covid when you can't get your nails professionally done, this is the closest to a professional pedicure.

When used with the top coat, this nail polish lasts so long. I can go 7 days without any chip or having to repaint my nails. It’s perfect and I don’t have worry about going to the salon once a month!
