Another great Park Tool tool
I’ve been a fan of Park Tool since I got back into biking 20 something years ago when it comes to maintaining, repairing bikes that I have worked on. With that said- I avoided buying this because of the ( initial) cost and that I had calibrated and highly accurate torque wrenches already. Up until recently, they worked ok for work; but I had an unfortunate incident with my previous torque wrenches; and have to replace them. The time and cost was right to buy them now. Let’s talk about it. Comes in a Park Tool blue case. The tool is set for Newton Meters. It does come with a conversion sticker- but when the sticker wears out- a quick internet search can be done for a conversion chart. Most bike repair manuals that I am familiar with are in Newtons already= so you’re ahead of the game. The force adjustment is pretty easy to manipulate. Push the knob in- turn to the right micro- torque or turn to the whole torque line- and lock it into place. No need to turn another knob and potentially lose ( or add) the correct torque. I can see if your hands are wet or greasy might have difficulty in this but a quick wipe your hands ( or take off your gloves) can alleviate this. Now, the case. Very robust plastic case in Park Tool blue. The artwork ( engraving) and labeling are good. I picked it up and didn’t hear or feel anything moving. I opened it up and the case is formed well to the tool. It does take a little effort to remove the tool. There are no cut outs to grab the tool. I had to go to the adjuster end and “ pry” it up with my thumb to free it from the case. With the aforementioned slippery hand conditions above- it may prove a little difficult to free the wrench from the case getting Overall, if you’re serious on maintaining your bike (s) - get this tool.

Relief to find one that works
I tried using the torque wrenches from harbor freight and home depot but they didn't seem to be torquing correctly. I will have to get them calibrated and see what is going on, luckily none of my parts snapped from trying to use them... However, I finally just got the park tool version and it's perfect for all the common finer jobs like seatpost, handlebar, etc. Most other torque wrenches you find are on the upper end of torques mostly for auto parts. It was hard for me to find one that was specific for the bike components I needed. I also got the additional park tool socket and bit set because even though I have alot of tools/bits, I didn't have a socket allen set and even then it was hard to keep everything together. Now it's all ready to go whenever I need to work on my bikes. I didn't enjoy spending the money but honestly it made my build so much easier, confidence inspiring, and relieving, So for me, it was worth it and I wish I didn't spend extra money on the other wrenches. The park tool is also the easiest & smoothest to adjust of the 3 I have. However, now that I'm more familiar with torque conceptually/practically, I think I would prefer a beam wrench where you can actively see what torque is being applied on the dial. These have the benefit of actually seeing what you're doing, whether it's out of calibration, and they tend to be cheaper and easier to maintain.

Love it
I'm a real nerd for techy gadgets sometimes, and the idea of a digital torque wrench was right up my alley. Ultimately though, I couldn't find a digital torque wrench that wasn't made by some alphabet soup company in China, and I prefer to spend extra on my tools in order to ensure that I only have to buy them once. Park Tool has constantly impressed me with the quality of their tools, so I ended up skipping the digital and going with this model (TW-5.2) as well as the larger Park Tool TW-6.2 for higher torque tasks. This wrench may not have a digital display, but I'll pick quality over nerd factor all day long when it comes to tools. I use this wrench all over my bikes, it's easy to change the torque value, easy to see the current value in the display window, and operation is tight and smooth. It just feels great to use. It also has a better range than most, particularly in the low end of the torque range. It's expensive, but it's worth every penny.

Solid bicycle specific torque wrench
This tool does exactly what it says it does and it seems very solid. The first issue is that I think in terms of inch pounds and foot pounds. I don't mind doing the conversion from Nm but I'd like a torque wrench with either inch pounds or foot pounds on the scale. Its just me. Also, I don't see using this wrench for much other than a bicycle handlebar: stem, grips, shifters, etc. It just doesn't have much range. I find myself grabbing other torque wrenches for the BB or cassette lock nut. And I haven't much use for this torque wrench, besides my bicycle. I've used it and like it but if I had to do it over again I would buy one of those adjustable 4,5,7,9 etc Nm torque wrenches and save some money. I think that is why I only gave it 4 stars. I really should have searched a bit more.

It works. It’s a park tool. 3/8 to 1/4 driver adapter not included
Not sure what Park Tools was thinking when they designed the case for this NOT to include a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter. The torque wrench is a 3/8” drive. The most common hex on a bicycle is 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm. None of those come in 3/8” drives. Other than that fig it works well.

Take the guessing out of the tourque settings
I've owned a lot of tourque wrences, but since I'm not a mechanic I always just bought cheap ones and never cared about quality. Then I got both of the Park Tool tourque wrences and realised that the reason you use one it to get the tourque to factory settings and not over. Without this tourque wrench, you're guessing how much to tighten that bolt on your $400 bars. Don't risk it, know what the settings are.
