Everyone who irons needs one of these
A ham like this make ironing much easier when the fabric isn't made to lay flat. This one is a good size for shoulder sleeve seams and neck bands.

Great Product!
This is a great product and it shipped very quickly. I used it immediately upon opening the package for ironing dress shirts. There was no odor at all - I am very pleased with this purchase.

Mildew smell...
I was already familiar with this particular tailor ham as a friend has one. I like the size and shape, and the materials are fine for me. I didn't experience any problem with the fabric melting or anything. I don't know what the deal is with this one, but it smelled like mildew right out of the package. I have stuffed it in a bag with some moisture absorber packs and hope that helps to pull the smell out. Since it is stuffed with sawdust, there isn't anything you can do to wash it. I didn't really see where anyone else had this problem, so maybe it is a fluke for me? I will give it some time and update if it airs out okay. As for the cancer warning on the label, it is because it is full of sawdust (and not cancerous chemical soaked sawdust, plain non chemically treated sawdust). Apparently, inhaling plain sawdust (as in if you cut wood and breathe in that air) can cause cancer. You are not breathing in this sawdust (it is fully enclosed) but it doesn't make any difference to the California cancer warning. So if you don't cut it open, throw it in the air, and inhale it all, you will be fine.Update: After leaving it in a bag with some moisture absorber packs, the smell is pretty well gone. I spritzed some febreeze on there and it smells nice now so I moved it up to four stars. Annoying, but glad it worked. I don't know why the manufacturer doesn't ship it with something to absorb odors and moisture.

NOT a musty odor!
What other folks have termed, "musty" is actually a sawdust smell. I'm guessing they've never been around construction.Anyhoo, this is filled with sawdust, as it's supposed to be, and it works perfectly.

Helpful for curved seams!!
This piece saved me during capstone, it was sooo much easier to iron my projects focusing in curved seams as replacement for darting. Thank you. :)

It's as good a pressing ham as any
It's as good a pressing ham as any, but this one has a small spot on the seam that's not totally sewn shut. I'm going to have to sew that spot. But otherwise it's a lovely pressing ham.

What a ham
It's a pressing ham. It's does what it should. No batteries required. Not gluten free or keto friendly to my knowledge, but I wouldn't try it.

Small ham
A bit smaller than I expected. Clear dimension description would have been great. Good product - gets the job done.

I don't know what I would do without this. ...
I don't know what I would do without this. Perhaps my seams would be all raggedy and I'd be sat on the couch with a beer. Seriously though it is a really handy tool and makes ironing seams, especially when sewing garments, so much easier.
