One worked well, the other one the clock/timer would shutoff, usually before I finished programming it. Tried 2 sets of batteries, it was obvious the electronics were bad from the start. Tried many times to get it to work but never lasted more than a few minutes before shutting off. Unfortunately since it was a 2 pack and I was running out of “return” time, I had to send both back. Got another o r from a different seller which is working fine so 2/3 worked out of the box. The rest of it is reasonably sturdy, too bad Moultrie “cheaped out” on the electronics.

Kept the bears from eating my feed and it was funny to watch them on camera trying to figure out how to get to this feeder!

Squirrels are abundant in our area and will need to put a metal lid on them. They will chew through the plastic lid. Otherwise very nice affordable unit.

I have purchased about 5 of these so far. They are decent little feeders, the batteries last and the motors work great. I did have a squirrel tear a pretty good hole into the lid of one, probably b/c it ran out of corn and sat in the tree empty for a couple of months. The corn won't last longer than a week if you have more than 8s/day of total feed time. At aprox 4s/day of total feed time the corn will last about 2 weeks. These work best when feeding close to home where you can easily add feed when needed.

Very easy set up. I've had 2 going for 8 months with no problems. The feeder holds about 30 pounds of shelled corn. Easy to tie a rope to and pull up on a tree branch. I use lithium batteries. Simple programming. The good news about these is they are small and light. That's also the down size because they only hold about 4 weeks of corn, max. They have a chart with the instructions on how long the feeder will throw if programmed for a specific period of time. For example, if it throws 4 seconds a day, it will dispense .8 pounds.

Easy to assemble if you line up the parts as directed. Battery life is long; I don’t know how long, they’ve been running for three weeks.Definitely buy these if you want a compact feeder.
