18-Volt Polar Party Music, Misting, and Light Tower - Patio Accessory

100% love this. The speaker is loud enough to play music for our whole backyard. The misting is amazing. Our backyard gets HOT. We have a west facing backyard with no shade in Colorado. It's making relaxing in the backyard much more enjoyable. The instructions for assembly could've been more forthcoming but weren't impossible. Took my husband about an hour. It's light enough to move around the patio easy enough depending on the direction of the wind. A full bucket of water underneath lasts a long time... and LOVE the fact that it's a rechargeable battery. And, it's a standard cordless drill battery so you can buy a bigger one if you want, but we haven't seen a need for it...

Purchased one of these at Home Depot last fall to put away for this summer. It had not been used all the time that it remained in the box in my garage, until I just set it up last week! I am very disappointed with it! 1) It was a pain to put together. 2) The misting system in it is very weak and does not put out enough mist to be effective. (3) The unit itself stands too tall to be effective. It is slightly taller than the edge of my standard size patio table umbrella, The mist just gets carried away with the air flow above the patio umbrella and roof top of the house, high above your heads and patio area where you need it! Only helps when you get a little breeze that happens to blow the mist your direction momentarily! One 5 gallon bucket of water lasted for over 7 1/2 hours of use..that is how little water it puts out! The battery died before the water ran out and I had to put a second backup battery in it that I had purchased separately also! (4) It ran and worked for about three consecutive days then suddenly the water pump quit working completely and just makes a weird humming sound and puts nothing at all out! In checking into what it would cost to replace the pump system, the booster pump transformer alone that it requires costs about $89.00 - $99.00. Not worth it!!!!! 5) The purchase price of this item is expensive..highly over priced! 6) The battery for it, if you happen to need a replacement or back up battery to last the duration of the planned use for a party or whatever. Is also expensive! This item has been a complete waste of good money! Unfortunately, being that I purchased it last fall on sale to put away for this summer, it is too late to return it and I also misplaced the receipt for it anyway! So yeah...very unhappy with it!!!!!

I purchased two artttic cove misting towers. They have work gray and the music system could be improved if I could like both units togeather.

Purchased this tower a year ago and it worked great. Stored it for the winter and when I tried to use this summer it would not stay on. Runs for 10 or so seconds then shuts off. Called customer support and they said there is probably something wrong with the control board and they do not sell that part so it cannot be repaired. 1 year warranty so I am pretty much out of luck and that is basically what they told me. Arctic Cove has lost this customer.

Woks really well a little hard to put together but it's great light is bright sounds is good misting is good

My in-laws have gone through three of these in less than three months. All of them had the misting pump suddenly fail. It would make strange noises and when you check on it the pump gave out completely.
