SkyRover Voice Command Helicopter Toy

The Sky Rover Voice Command R/C Helicopter is a great beginner RC copter for kids. It is my 6 year old's favorite toy from Christmas, and he's been flying and recharging it several times a day. You only get about 10 minutes of flight time per charge, but that is typical for these types of toys. Very durable to crashes and includes extra blades and parts in case something breaks. I would give this 5 stars except the voice command feature isn't really usable. You will give a clear command but the unit interprets it as a different command (for example, you can say "go up" and the unit will repeat and perform a completely different command such as "dancing in the air"). I would estimate about 30% of the time it would get the command correct. After about 3 flights using voice command my son abandoned the ear piece and has much more fun flying the helicopter manually.

Purchased this for Christmas for my eight year old and he just loves it. Voice commands work perfectly and he gets many flights with it per charge, He knows that it takes forty minutes to charge and he has been doing this all day to keep flying. The controls are nice and work well to fly the heli. It comes with spare bladed in case you break one. Over I am very please by this Heli, the earphone and mike and the voice commands!

This worked for about a month, but then it would only fly in one direction. My son had difficulties with this as far as using the voice commands. He liked using the handheld controller more than the ear piece. Very disappointed that it didn't last long before it was broken. Now it just sits in a pile of toys that don't get played with.

This helicoper really is awesome. wish i could give it 5 stars, but sadly i can't. the talking feature to give the helicopter voice commands was awesome and that was partily why i bought the helicopter. Sadly it doesn't always pick up what you are saying. My kids loved the helicopter, but it broke in just a few days of normal play. We sent it back and got a replacement but then after that, the second one broke also. very sad about this purchase. my kids had so much fun with it.

Extremely delicate. First one returned after less than one week because it wouldn't fly. Bottom Rotor did not turn. The replacement I received hadthe pins for the charging plug bent. I spent hours until I was able to straighten them and get the helo to charge.

My son loves this toy, as does his sister. It is durable since they have crashed it repeatedly. We play with it outside for the extra room. My son would get it up about 20 feet or so and then let it drop to the ground. So far, it has survived without damage. It is fairly easy to learn to fly. My son just didn't understand the difference between easing up on the throttle and releasing it completely. It is a great toy.

This is the best remote control helicopter I've ever purchased. It beat out the very expensive version from Brookstone which lasted two days. I will say the voice command doesn't work well but my 8 year-old doesn't seem to care. It can take a crash landing very well.

This was purchased as a gift for my oldest son for Christmas. It has not disappointed us yet he loves flying it and its battery holds a charge for a good amount of time, it is also very easy yo charge and takes about 45 minutes to fully charge. I believe the voice command works well Aldo I have yet to try it out though. Definitely a hood buy though.
