I received this doll in two days! I had done my research on dolls in this price range. It is going to be our "big gift" for our daughters 6th birthday. I know these are meant for collectors so I chose very carefully. I thought the dolls box came in adequate packaging. When I opened the box I was so please to see exactly what had been described. The dolls arms and legs were wrapped in plastic to protect the beautiful coloration. Her bow and the stuffed sheep were packaged separately. The certificate of authenticity was by her feet. She has lovely brown eyes and painted on hair. I chose to get a doll with painted hair due to all of the negative reviews of dolls with real hair and how easily it got matted. I know this doll will be well loved and want her to be easily cleaned and stay tidy. The tummy is nice and full of stuffing and the weighted tush is full of little beads like would be in a beanie baby. The doll seems to be well made.UPDATE:Our daughter was so thrilled to receive this doll! She fits newborn and 0-3 month clothes.

This doll looks like she does in the picture. She can be dressed in "newborn" or "0 to 3 month" clothing. The arms are vinyl to about 2" before the shoulder so she can wear short sleeves without the cloth body showing. The legs are vinyl to about 2" above the knee so it is possible to dress the doll in shorts but not a "one-sey." The body is soft and very cuddly as well as the vinyl arms and legs. If you look inside the mouth, the top gum is visible and looks cute. The hair is painted on which I don't believe detracts from the doll at all as it looks realistic and very much like the fine (sometimes sparse!) hair of a new baby. The eyes are lovely and the eyelashes delicate. The head does need some mild support when picked up as you would with an actual baby but does hold its position when sitting up. This is a very nice doll to display and cuddly to hold, and may make a nice gift for a responsible 6 or 7 year-old but you would have to check with the manufacturer to make sure it is appropriate for a child. I would definitely buy this again and have enjoyed having it in my collection.

She's a pretty doll, great sized for newborn clothing, can fit a real newborn pacifier in her mouth my only complaint is her color is a little on the gray side. I love seeing dolls with brown eyes, 2 of my 3 girls have brown eyes and they will pick a baby based on that alone. My 8yr old is loving her new baby so I cant complain

In a full length onzie, she looks fairly real (for a doll). However, leg joints are odd, and stuffing in body is bulky, but the full onzie she comes in hides all that pretty well. Weight is lighter than what would seem realistic. It does seem expensive for what it is, but I don't think you can find anything better for less...or I would have gotten that instead : )

I was advised by my upcoming 5 year old that she needed a real baby for her birthday and not the "kid stuff"... The search was on! Originally I was looking for a lee Middleton doll and came across baby Layla. I am always hesitant to order online with something like this that I really wanted to get my hands on first, but I did it and could not be more pleased! I was in love first and couldn't wait for her birthday! My husband said "why are you so excited about this baby?? What is the big deal??" I said "because she is going to love her I know!! This is exactly what she wants!"On her birthday she opened gifts and liked them.. Then came Layla... Nothing else mattered. Even the bike she got after that haha! They have been inseparable.Baby Layla feels And looks real. She wears newborn to 3 month real baby clothes and diapers. My friends that have seen her say "she is big! Just like a real baby!"She is very well made as far as I can tell.No complaints whatsoever here so far! We will definitely be ordering again!!

Let me say that this baby is pretty and my 5 yr old daughter loves her BUT she is definitely not a $100 baby. It is no different than a $25-$30 from a chain store. I will not be sending her back unfortunately because my daughter would be heartbroken but I definitely will not be buying from this company again.

I received my beautiful baby doll yesterday im the head fell off after i pull her up from the box .really sad cause she looks like a real baby and the faceits beautiful.😞

This doll is precious. She has the most beautiful face and expressive brown eyes. Some people have commented about her body being overstuffed and I do think her stomach is too big, when she is sitting she looks very big in the belly. Her limbs are also a bit too thin for the size of her body. But, she is very pretty and huggable. I love her.
