UPDATE: I have 6 and 4 yo boys and they ruined this jumping on the bed. The protector unfortunately is not like the picture and has seams running down the center of both sides of the protector. Once it starts ripping it's a wrap! Throw it away!I just put it on my bed about 3 days ago. So far so good. It does not have that plastic like feeling when you lay down which is great. Seems durable enough. Please use caution when sliding it onto your mattress though bc a couple of times I pulled harder than I meant to and felt like It was stretching the protector and that it might rip. I got king and it fit perfectly. I did have to pinch the seams while closing bc I felt again that I could accidentally rip the zipper off or stretch/tear a hole in the protector but if your wanting to avoid all that but the cali king for your standard king size mattress.

We used this for a hospital bed and it fit perfectly with a 2”from pad and mattress incased, it keeps both dry and looks nice good price and comfortable and durable

Well worth the price! It definitely takes two people put it on. Once it's on, you'll need to smooth down the air pockets. It is very durable, the look and feel is nice and strong. Will be thinking about buy another one for the other bed we have. Highly recommended and satisfied.

This product should not be sold. It has a warning stating the materials used to create it could cause cancer and lead to birth defects.I spent time putting these covers on my kids beds only to later find out it had a weird smell that was so pungent I wondered if it was harmful to my kids. I found the package and right there on the package was a warning from the state of California that the package contains chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm!?!Once I read that, I immediately took the two I bought and returned them. How is anyone selling this product? The seller needs to put this sign on Amazon so customers are aware of this warning.

Item feels like a really big thick plastic bag for a bed. It had a pretty strong scent taking it out, but having a window or fan open helps. I stood my bed up and sort of worked my way down, which I struggled on. I did not have any help so I recommend the opposite. Zipping it up was such a hassle and parts of the lining ended up ripping. I believe it was only because my mattress is thick, when I finished, it looked like a pretty tight fit.If you have a mattress like mine I highly suggest sitting on top while zipping the cover up. It prevented me from ripping the whole thing apart. I only ended up with three holes, which I figure could be fixed with a little tape. I am aware I could just return and redo the process, but it was such a hassle and the holes are not too big. I, personally do not mind taping them up.The item, once fitted on my mattress, was quite soft in my opinion. It does not crinkle or make any noise when I sit on it. I would recommend buying this, despite the tiny bump in the road I encountered with it. Note, the only reason mine ripped was because my mattress is pretty thick.I gave this item four stars because I believe it is a pretty good item for its price!

I sweat when I sleep and definitely when someone else is in the bed. This mattress cover keeps the moisture from getting into my mattress and keeps my bed from being wet and smelly. The cover is plastic and air tight, it had a smell for about a day, Seems to have room for 10”-11” mattress but may want to rip if it gets too tight. I’d buy again.

This is a decent cover protector and because I purchased a queen size for a full bed I had some extra material to stretch around the mattress. And even after I followed the directions of standing the mattress up vertically and lightly pulling cover down over it and then zipping around the edge afterwards, when I went to zip the edge the material ripped off from the zipper. But it’s vinyl and it’s not like fabric so it’s not meant to be on a zipper so I’m guessing that’s why it rips so much. However I taped up the ripped sides of the zipper and it still in working fashion. Please size up or it will rip even more easier bc there will be no extra fabric to stretch across the edge when you’re zipping up the end of the mattress after pulling it down and over. Overall, I gave three stars bc it does rip and isn’t a perfect cover for mattress. I suggest that maybe you put fabric around the edge of the vinyl and then make the zipper attach to the edges with fabric, so your product can recieve five stars. Because for the price point it has a good design with vinyl thickness and after I taped it up from ripping, it actually does provide essential waterproofing completely from all fluids. You can just wipe clean and no matter how much liquid it is exposed to, it will not leak through to the mattress. But you may need tape to adjust it if it rips. So, I would go ahead and purchase some good clear packing tape from Amazon while you purchase this item.
