Very nice. Does it's job and looks nice.

This is ok, the curved spoon is not curved enough to scoop enough as most “ traditional” ones are. Going to try to boil and curve myself. Also was supposed to have a 60 point whisk and 100 point Whisk got two of the same. Use mine basically for Matcha so not to big of a deal.

Revived a broken whisk holder instead of 2 whisks. The whisk is good, but the order was wrong, and broken due to no packaging.

We love matcha lattes and this set is a step up from my old metal whisk. I like the way that the bamboo whisk expands as you use it and it has a light bamboo/grass fragrance that adds to the experience of preparing the tea. The small bamboo scoops also help measure the matcha and tactilely they feel comfortable in the hand.This 2 set combination is relatively inexpensive. The combo is the cost of one bamboo whisk in the stores I've seen in NYC.

I finally was able to get my Japanese friends here to practice my technique of preparing Matcha in the traditional manner so I could use these utensils properly.I have some very fine Matcha and had my filtered water in a traditional tetsubin with its own little stove just below boiling.I sifted the matcha into a chawan for each gues and myself, added water to the first bowl and used the 100 prong chasen to mix and froth the matcha, rinsed the chasen, added water to the next bowl and repeated the mixing and frothing.The utensils worked perfectly, my guests examined them and pronounced them excellent - and they should know.
