The seal very well. No problem carrying soups or liquid items in them to work. They are clear and easy to see what is in them and you can add a piece of tape on them to label and freeze items.

I've been meal prepping, and so far one container broke because I opened it too roughly.4/5 Heating straight from freezer to microwave. I had to stir my pasta around because the food was still cold in the middle. If warming up pasta, it may not warm evenly. I didn't have any issues with my soup. I love that the container did not lose its shape.5/5 Dishwasher safe.Overall, these are great for freezer or meal prep. 16 oz is big enough for a portion. I hope that when I reorder more in the future, the quality stays the same. I don't think these will cause my food to have freezer burn because the lid stays on really tight. Also, it's spill proof. I accidentally knocked over my soup and I was happy that the lid stayed secured.

Honestly, I waited the longest time before getting those, using the different bowls and containers I already have. But we Mary Kondo'd our containers (and lids that magically appeared), and I got these containers instead.If you cook a lot, like to entertain or do meal planning, this works great. Standard sizes that stack easily, good for the freezer for big batch cooking (stored a few liters of ramen broth this way), and clean quickly, in the dishwasher or by hand. The same goes for mise-en-place when doing multiple dishes. I just prep and measure everything so I only have to dump content at the right time while cooking.
