Best Loved Snack.
Our dogs each get one at 8pm. They never let us forget. Solid, very loved treat. One eats it in 2 minutes (she has attached vice grips so she does not swallow it whole), the other licks it clean, then gently nibbles it for about an hour. Happy dogs!

If you’re hesitant to try… don’t be!
We are only a couple days in with our goldendoodle (45 lbs) and I’ve seen insane improvement in his teeth/breathe. We had taken him to the vet that day after his breath had gotten so bad after a few months with nothing working. We walked out with a suggestion of a full teeth cleaning ($1100-1900 bill procedure) but in the meantime the vet has suggested some liquid (perio support) to go into his water to help get by until the cleaning. Well our dog won’t touch the water but in my research I came across these. He loves them! And day 1 I noticed a difference, but chalked it up to my imagination. Day 3 the tarter has significantly improved and his breath is back to normal, and maybe even improved! I’m excited to see how these continue to work but I’m so happy to be able to snuggle my dog again without gagging!!! These are amazing and saved us a ton!

Great for aggressive chewers.
Our Miniature Schnauzer puppy is a very aggressive chewer. These strips are long lasting and our puppy loves them. They're great for her teeth.

Dental treats for dogs
They were recommended by a vet. The dog likes him and his teeth are clean.

Perfect for our dogs
Our dogs have always loved these! It's good for tartar, it's a long lasting chew and easy to digest, though we never let them chew a whole one at one time. Our Vet recommended these a long time ago, and they have been in the pantry for years!

They helped!
These actually did help my corgis teeth and breath! I ordered another package in a smaller size and am awaiting that order. I bought the medium size but the chews are kind of large and thick for their smaller teeth. The medium might be good for an animal that likes to chew a lot that are on the upper end of the weight range. My dogs haven't finished a full chew yet but they seem to like the flavor. If you're undecided on what size to get or your dog has smaller teeth, I would go with a smaller size rather than base it on dog's weight. Out of the entire package, most chews were close to 6 inches. Only a few were shorter. The edges do get soft as they chew them and I haven't noticed any sharp or jagged fragments. The chews don't break, which is a really good thing. My dogs aren't "chewers" - they don't really chew on toys and seem to prefer soft treats, in general. I wasn't sure if they'd even bother with these but they seem to like them. I ranked 4 stars on flavor because they seem to like them but don't seem overly *excited* like they are with other treats.

Significant shortage of chews in new packages
Since these chews were repackaged, I have purchased so far 4 packages for my two dogs. I have bought these chews for years and two packages of 30 chews each have consistently lasted one month for my two dogs. The repackaged chews say they contain approximately 30 chews. When I opened the first package of repackaged chews, I did not count them because I had never had to count them. I could rely upon one package lasting 15 days for my two dogs. However, the new package lasted only 7 days with one left over which meant there were only 15 chews in that package. So I counted the chews when I opened the second package and there were only 17 chews. The third package had 24 chews and the fourth had only 14 chews. This is unacceptable. I do not know what is going on in this “repackaging” of “approximately 30 chews” but the shortage is extreme and entirely inconsistent with what Virbac has provided in the past which was 30 chews. I feel like I am being deliberately cheated by Virbac having opened four of the “new” repackaged chews in a row and none of the packages being close to having 30 chews. What is going on with Virbac doing this? My dogs are now 14 and 11 and have had enjoyed these chews for years but I may need to find something else for them where the manufacturer is fair and honest. Virbac chews have been very good for my dogs’ teeth but I am so disappointed that Virbac seems to be taking advantage by shorting the contents of the new repackaging. I would appreciatep Virbac responding to this shortage issue and can only give a one star overall rating until this amount of contents in the new packages issue is corrected.
