The headline says it all. A number of keys have already completely worn down the etching. If you're not a touch typist, you'll have no idea of what key you are hitting.

This keyboard has a comfortable feel. The large Enter key means a small Backspace key, so you'll have to get used to that, but your fingers will re-learn fairly quickly. Other than that, my only other complaint is, this is my second one of these, because they don't last as long as the original keyboard, if you do a lot of typing, such as if you're an author writing a book. For twenty bucks though, it's the best thing I've found, so, if you do a lot of typing, you might want to get two or three of them. After about six months of typing all day long, every day, certain keys will stop working.

Within first week my keypad numbers (painted surface) started wearing off. Now after 3 months I have 4 blank keys with no paint. Would not recommend.

not a bad product just had 2 keys interchanged. wasn't worth sending it back because i am not s touch by looking so it does not sffect me

The keyboard fits and works, as it should. But this is NOT an exact replacement for the keyboard that came with the HP Pavilion DV7-6100. The SHIFT keys and ENTER keys are slightly shifted, so normal typing becomes impossible. Very frustrating! Be sure to compare the keyboard layout of your computer keyboard to this one before buying. Since there is technically nothing wrong with it, and I have already thrown away the packaging, I'll just have to buy another keyboard with the proper layout.

Really can't fault the company but while the keyboard does fit my HP dv7-6000 laptop, the keyboard layout is different then the original, the shift key on the left side of the keyboard is much smallerer and hard to reach, other than my oversight, keyboard shipped and received as expected and packed well.

Used 5 minutes and space bar gets stuck down every time I touch it. Left shift key so small that I keep hitting wrong key. like this \\\\\\\\\\. Into garbage bin with this thing. \poor \ design\\\ and quality.Just noticed caps lock light does not work, so I don't know WhEn it is activated. This may turn out to be the worst Amazon purchase that I have ever made.
