Very bad product..in just one my product's shine faded and it became matt from shiny gold piece...

It's solvent based so ensure that you coat in open so that the solvent vapours don't accumulate. I think I must have used it for approx 20 sq ft. Bought another one as well. Don't know about long term protection.. hope it provides as advertised else will come back and edit the review.
