The lock is made of Very cheap metal and snapped with hand pressure. I opened the box and set the combination all was working fine. I then gave the lock a hard pull to check it wouldn’t just slide open under presser and the locking pin simply snapped at the joint.I wouldn’t advise anyone to purchase this product.

I have been keeping an eye on this bike lock for a sometime now but couldn’t decide whether to buy it or not as I am not to sure if that suits my needs. Well, after I’ve done my research online I finally bought it. I am glad I did, so far I used it as bike lock and at the same time use it for the backyard fence which work perfectly well on both item not only that I even tried it on the plastic garden storage where I kept some of my daughter outdoor toys. and that I feel it is really sturdy and made from heavy duty material. The lock combination is so easy to operate even my daughter didn’t had any problem twisting and turning it therefore It’s so user friendly. Lastly I like that it had a material covering up the chain which is an added protection from rust and other elements plus if I factored in the affordable price, I could safely say that this item is one of my best buy. Highly recommended!

Nice action to the combination lock and easy to set to personal code. The protective wrap on chain secured well to ends and looks to be of a reasonable quality. Large easy to read numbers on a roll wheels - great for old eyes and no keys to lose!Although locking pin appears to be quite thin, it's about the same diameter as the chain.Not sure how long a determined thief would take to cut through links but it's got to be better than nothing and as long as my bike has a better lock than the one next to it . . . . !Purchased two of the same to secure bikes to motorhome - it's probably stronger than the bike rack rails!!!UPDATEBe wary of combination locks - I was able to find the correct sequence by feel in a matter of minutes. Locks are on their way back.

I got my bike stolen in a very public place. The person that saw the theft didn't think it was a theft because the person approached the bike, their jacket was covering the lock and they didn't see it being cut. It's as easy as if you had a warm knife on a stick of butter.I blame myself for buying such a "looks fine product" but if you really want to keep your bike safe, insure it or buy a bicycle gold lock that at least requires a professional lockpicker or someone with an electric saw.

Absolutely shocking. Had only used it 3 times and it took some lowlife theif 20 seconds to fiddle about with it, undo the lock and walk off with both mine and my mates bikes. Saw the cctv 15 minutes after it happened. I set a difficult combination too so I think the code is very easily cracked just by adding a little tension to the chain and spinning around the numbers until they fall into place. Would not recommend to buy unless you want your bike nicked...

It is a bike chain covered in thick material so it will not scratch the paintwork on the bike but any rust would not be spotted and so would be go untreated.It bends to any shape. You can take up any slack simply by threading it through the frame again.I bought a black one as it is likely to stay looking smarter for longer compared to the brighter or paler colours.I would not expect this to stop a serious bike thief armed with bolt cutters but it should deter an opportunist. I would not use this as the only security for a bike that costs north of £1000.

I needed this quickly as child was taking bicycle to school and needed a chain to lock it up.. Prime delivery was great and this arrived super fast the next day. The chain is strong (as a result is a bit on the heavy side) and definitely suitable for keeping bicycle safe at school. There are obviously more secure locking devices which i have but for the purpose of securing a fairly cheap bike at school this is perfect. The combination lock is easy to set and change.

I like everything about this lock! I looked at a lot before purchasing.. I bought 2 of these and couldn't be happier!Heavy chain, fabric coated so nicer to handle, and doesn't scratch my bike :) I've been using them for over a month now without problem (central London). The chain is long enough to secure wheel and frame to bike racks or around pole. The lock mechanism is very smooth, and easy to use. It's very simple to set your own combination.. I recommend! Brilliant for the cost.
