Spare yourself the heartache.
I purchased what I believe was some version of this product in 2011 or 2012, and felt like I was outfoxed. Whenever I clicked a feature for which I paid my $50, I got some message saying that I needed an upgrade. I paid the $50 seeking only the more simple functionalities of a pdf filler (e.g. saving a fillable pdf to edit it later and so forth), and did not obtain that. I would hesitate to buy any product with this company's name on it after that experience. If the product actually did what was advertised, then the setup was flawed so only some freeware version could be installed. My experience was that I bought the product, installed it, and then found out it was merely the same as freeware . . . but with advertising. In my opinion, "Foxit Phantom" is an apt named for a company whose products bring you elusive benefits at full cost.
