This product fit my Craftsman model 919.166442 and I am "making air again!"It is 1 7/8" diameter. The gasket arrives flat and you have to mold it to the cylinder. Make sure you pull the new gasket down through the cylinder instead of bottom to top to make it conform to the cylinder when you install it. Otherwise you will ruin it.tip: The thread to get the crank off the craftsman is a right handed (normal) thread. It is just very tight and initially I thought I was going the wrong way.It comes with an O-ring but my compressor doesn't utilize.

This and the additional head gasket brought the unit back to new.

I replaced the compression ring in my Craftsman air compressor it worked for one day then it blew again this is a piece of crap, cloth or some type of flexible substance that's not metal. The original compression ring was metal and lasted years. Very disappointed!

Yep, the Ring Compression Gasket works great. However, ALL that I needed was the RCG. I did NOT need the cylinder and screw. The cylinder does not wear out in normal lifetime usage and does not need replacement most of the time. Unfortunately, the ONLY way you can purchase the RCG is by purchasing the "kit". The gasket is a $2.95 part but I paid 10x that to obtain it. Amazon, you need to require your suppliers to break out the part that actually wears out and not force your customers to buy stuff they neither need nor want.
